Lit Star Wars books review

I was reading some Star Wars books. The first one I read was great, this one not so much. Called Star Wars Lost Stars. It seems more like a romance book than a Star Wars book and while it was interesting and engaging at first I find myself losing interest in it completely. I read online that it is a good book and it leads up to the Force Awakens. I love Star Wars and I already was a little reluctant to critic the fandom books and PT. This I had expected to read a decent Star Wars book. Ends up being way too romance like and it was more like Starship Troopers in tone than Star Wars.

Anyone else read this book and felt like this?
