I think the only ones I haven't read are:

    1. All of the Galaxy of Fear series except for Clones
    2. All of the Last of the Jedi series except book one
    3. Assorted Young Jedi Knights books, I think I've read about half
    4. Honor Among Thieves
    5. Galaxies: Ruins of Dantooine
    6. I'm only a few chapters into Aftermath: Empire's End so far.
    7. The adaptation of Rogue One

I can't think of any others right now that I haven't read, except things that wouldn't count as novels. I've got to get around to reading the rest of these things.

As far as recommendations go, I'd say that you shouldn't be turned off by the new canon. I really liked A New Dawn, Dark Disciple, Lost Stars, as they're a lot of fun, and Catalyst adds a lot to the canon.

In terms of Legends, my favorites are Knight Errant, the X-Wing series, Outbound Flight, Yoda: Dark Rendezvous, Scoundrels, and for a change of pace, Scourge. To start.

I haven't read any new canon novels since I'm waiting for more so I can get a backlog going, I've read all of the old canon ones except for some young adult novels but I don't know if I'd consider that a loss, like I never finished Anakin Solo's novels for example. Are they even worth reading?

    Was Revan really that bad?

    Also I have read
    NJO series
    LOTF series
    X-wing series
    Darth Bane trilogy
    Thrawn Trilogy
    TOR Annihilation
    Many other TOR books
    Bounty Hunter Wars Trilogy
    and a bunch of others

I definitely recommend The Bane trilogy. Those books were great.

I haven't finished Revan yet (over 1/3 of the way through though) and it is not bad yet.
The Bane Trilogy is a great read, though many have their issues with it.

It's not badly written. For the most part it tells an entertaining story. It just had an awful ending that was only there so that Revan could be shoehorned into TOR. Also it did some awful things to the personalities of the KOTOR characters arguably including Revan himself. I mostly regret reading what is essentially the (horrible) ending of the KOTOR story.

I've read all the adult novels, a fair number of the YA ones, and most of the comics that have the Fetts in them.
