Is it terribley naive of me to think that the GC is going to be better than both the ps2 and xbox?

I can think of five games I want on GC for every one ps2 or xbox game.

BH is still high on my list, though, in amongst all them great exclusives.

Hate to tell yoyu this CMR but PS2's stats are way below xbox's and trail near 100mhz in processor power behind GC.

I agree though that games make the system and not the hardware.

Just look at Nintendo's Miyamoto. He's hardly trrying his hardest to unlock all the power of GC. Have you seen Mario and Zelda?

Oh well atleast lucasarts still make pretty games for gcn.

If you look at all the recent LEC press releases when a game is coming out on PC & consoles, the press release reads;

Totally Games to develop a World War II flight combat game for next generation consoles and PC.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, will debut on the Xbox video game system this fall and release on PC early 2003.

to create the next Indiana Jones game, marking the return of film's most compelling and celebrated action hero to interactive entertainment. The game, expected to release fall 2002, will be available on a variety of next generation console platforms and PC.

or similar.

Does the Bounty Hunter Press Release have any such wording?

Star Wars Bounty Hunter is expected to release fall 2002 on PlayStation®2 and GameCube.


Now I'm not saying that there's zero chance of Bounty Hunter being ported. But at this time there's absolutely no indication that it will be.

Wow, it looks amazing.

 

I'm getting the gamecube because all the lucasarts games are later coming on to gamecube in later times (includes bounty hunter). But one advantage is that Rogue Leader is only coming on to gamecube.
