In an attempt to show that we here at VicFF are a creative lot - even if we don't post new threads much - I thought I'd share some images of Star Wars inspired car number plates.

Now you may not know that I keep a listing of sci-fi based plates on my web site here but here are some of the Star Wars ones that I have photos of.

Needless to say if you happen to have pics of other plates that aren't included here (be they Star Wars or sci-fi in general), be sure to let me know as I'll include it in my list.

In no particular order (apologies for the incorrect aspect ratio but I don't know how to fix it).

    And of particular note...

    Which is owned by LordVaderFF

    And these two...

Which are both owned by myself.

    Hey that's so cool! :D

Bummer. I was at Scienceworks on Sunday and there was a car in the carpark with a purple number plate that said "WRJEDI" or something like that. IT was extra letters then "JEDI". Silly me didn't take a photo.

It's my old car, but they are my plates, had them since 1990, wedding present from my husband. ;) My brother has 'SITH' on his motor Cycle too.

They are currently on my black Terracan, but hopefully my new Sante Fe R will arrive in the next 6 weeks and they will turn a wonderful shade of pink and go on it!! Why pink? To brighten a very boring white car as I do not like white or silver cars, and this new model gave me little or no choice!

That's awesome, I'll have that pic included in the list ASAP.

It's funny because I own SITH and am really proud of that, yet someone out there has S1TH as we can now use numbers in the middle of plates. Personally I think using numbers to subsitute letters is absolutely dorky. To prove this I actually know a mate of mine who has J3DI which just looks totally POX!

So if I ever see the person with S1TH on their car I'm just gonna laugh at them as I say "oi, get a REAL plate"! [face_laugh]

My brother also has 'WRAITH' on his truck. ;)

I don't like the letters and numbers being mixed up either....but I guess some are desperate to have what we got!! LOL!

Can you get a photo of WRAITH? I can include it in the list from the film The Wraith.

Will try over the weekend, I thought I was seeing him tonight, but apparently not :( So will attempt in the next week. He will be at the Relay for Life with me next weekend (not this one coming) so I KNOW I will see his truck then!

I hate that too! Especially the fact that "3" as a representative of "E" is totally wrong because they face opposite ways!

The problem is that it's becoming quite excepted even if it doesn't make sense.

I love it when someone couldn't get a plate they wanted in letters so they use all these numbers to fill in the gaps even if the plate looks weird and unreadable.

After all, you can't tell me that the character name KAEL (as in General Kael from Willow) looks readable when it's spelt K43L I mean seriously how tragic would that look!

I've seen a ute near where I live a few times that has the number plate "MTFBWY". Needless to say I'm fairly jealous.

I love the pink and white! Now having looked at the site I'm going out of my way to get my brothers SITH on his motor cycle and his WRAITH on his 4WD!!! I know TK 1571 at the SAFF has IMPRL.1
