well, my idea for an unstaffed table ran smack dab into the 'must be staffed' requirement...

As posted today on the official site:

    Pacific Region FanForce
Members of the Pacific Region FanForce say they are all "about getting fans together and helping them meet and interact in the physical community." Representatives from the San Diego Star Wars Society, San Francisco Fan Force, Ventura County Fan Force, Mos Everett (Washington) Cantina, and the Spokane Fan Force will promote the FanForce in general, and their specific, community-centered chapters and events in particular.

    Woo! :D

Also, for a complete list of all the fan groups that made it into CIII, look Here.

Okay, I can't do it at school so I'm just going to pay for it. If anyone feels the desire to donate some money that would be great, don't feel obligated though. I chose to do a color flyer so it's my own fault that it'll be expensive to print. It sould look cool though.

    I'll contribute. Let me know.

Also, marma, could you PM me your cell number? I seem to have lost it, and I want to find you two in Indy sometime, at least!

I'm pretty sure that Gentlebant and myself are the only VCFF members going to Celebration now... since the rest of them all bailed on us. Like I mentioned to you before, I'm going to be spending a lot of hours volunteering for Lucasfilm so I'm not going to be able to work the Pacific Region booth. Sorry about that.

No time for recaps Dr. Jones. Wait for the Ep3 line, we'll have plenty of time to kill anyway.

    Baaaaaaaaaaaack!

Nick Gillard is really nice and very patient. AND really was a stand/manmaiden! ACK! :)

    Lines stunk.

    Still spoiler free!

    Shows were cool.

The Lego show on Cartoon Network on Saturday, May 8 looks really funny.

Talked to Ronda at the SOE booth. Looks like icons and doc probs are here to stay.

Met Prak and Lomei from Kestrel on Naboo.

Definitely need to buy the Ep III soundtrack with bonus DVD. MUST. :)

    Poor Steve Sansweet!

Jay Lagalia can sing really well.

Warwick Davis wants GL to do a Willow TV series.

Rick was cool enough to stick around an entire day to talk about and sit through the extra footage he brought of Ep III. However, personally didn't go do to the fact I heard it was basically a summary of the whole movie.

Did I mention lines for everything?

    Met jamesvader. (/wave)

Also had two new signups for VCFF. (Get those to you soon, marma.)

Someone got proposed to at the Rebel Legion "Kamino" pic.

    IT SNOWED

International RHS meetup was short but fun!

Got interviewed for a radio show. (Um, very briefly. Nice guy, though.)

The Hawaii FF guys are funny. And very sweet.

Lines to buy exclusive Vader figures were 5-9 hours long *once you got inside the convention* And people were buying 20-30 at a time. Grrrrr

Noah now has a retro ROTJ tshirt.

    I like free stuff.

Only short lines for Timothy Zahn autograph line.

One of the artists in the SW Art room recognized my handmaiden costume, the royal crest, AND has done handmaiden art! Whooohooo!

Sad thing...someone saw Warwick walk by with his wife and kids and squealed, "Hey, look! It's Kenny Baker!"

    I am sooooooooooooooo sleepy.

Opening ceremony was very random. Kinda like a variety hour...one of those things where the individual parts were greater than the whole.

Line to get in the first day was around 3-4 hours for the FAN CLUB line.

Stopped selling single day passes and 4 day passes Friday night.

They miscalculated the number of bracelets to give out for the George Lucas talks and had to run around and grab walk ins at the last minute for the 9 AM show.

Um, more as I think of it!

There was so much cool stuff I can't even hope to list it like GB did. I will, however show you. Click this link and view the pics that Kelsey took while we were there. We were actually too dumb to get pics of ourselves in costume but a whole bunch of other people took pics so I should have some soonish.

My favorite pic is the crazy guy who has a big yellow costume with a Jedi robe and Vader chest piece. When I gave him a puzzled look he looked back at me and explained "I'm Bananakin Skywalker". Best costume ever.
