Star Wars: Clone Wars for GAMECUBE!!! (and PS2) (and x-box)

Star Wars Bounty Hunter presents an original, compelling third-person action game experience which establishes Jango Fett's place in the Star Wars galaxy, and his connection to the notorious clone army.

While it may not take place in the exact week or so (? pure speculation) that AOTC covers, it concerns the events of AOTC and features characters from AOTC.

That's enough for me to consider this an AOTC game. If you don't feel the same way, that's fine by me.

Q: Seems LucasArts is mainly focusing on PS2 and Xbox lately with it's Star Wars titles. I would have guessed to see more GCN support b/c of Rouge Leader. Is LucasArts ditching GCN?

Fran: Lucas is definitely not ditching GCN. In fact they have a few surprises on the way.

I hope they finally anounce Clone Wars soon!

 

pat-fett: LOL your friend is a liar. EGM had an article in their magazine that said you could unlock Sonic and Tails. But the article was an April fools joke.

Yes. There was a scan from a magazine up in the E3 thread earlier today, but it's been pulled.

The article confirmed the game is on GC & PS2 and is being developed by "Pandemic".

 

When its release?

 

Fall 2002.

"Vehicular" combat? *Keeps waiting paitiently for Star Wars Galaxies*

 

Let's see.. have all my AOTC collectibles.. spent all my fun money.. i'm gonna have to do some serious spending for games, when I don't even know how to raise all this money!

 

Vehicular combat? I hope it isn't like Demolition then. Man, that game blew chunks.

 

hey man, thanks a truckload. you wouldn't believe how much time and effort I've spent hunting down someone with the pics and article for the past couple days. so yeah, thanks.

 

Do not speak of Demolition! The game's too sucky to be mentioned. I think this game good become great.

 

i dont think it will be like Demolition (even though I've never played that).

apparently the single player game is mission-based, 16 missions across 6 planets. while those typical Demolition/Twisted metal type of games just have giant deathmatches which is pretty simple and every level is the same. supposedly this game has regular missions with objectives, like escort or search and destroy, stuff like that. similar to Rogue Squadron style arcade-based objectives.

 

The article makes it out to be Twisted Metal: Star Wars.

Of all the possibilities they could do in the star wars universe... I know i was definately disappointed when i ripped open the mag.

 

I've heard just the multiplayer is twisted metal style. 4 players, you have to defend your bases and give commands and blah blah blah. but if the single player has missions and even has some parts where you go out on foot then that sounds nothing like Twisted Metal.

BTW, like I've said, I've been searching out that scan ever since it was posted, i've looked for it with everything but the kitchen sink. I don't suppose you could send it to me eh? you can't know how desperate I am. i'm going to buy the mag once its on newstands next week but i am really getting anxious, and as long as its not posted anywhere then I don't think it matters.

 

Ok, correction, It's twisted metal but you go in a line instead of a circle. And sometimes you'll get out of your tank.

The article doesn't say anything you don't already know and have posted.

 

Damn. I was expecting it to be an adventure game that followed along the storyline to the movie. Car combat, however, just isn't my style. I'll probably just get the game because it's another Star Wars title, and they're usually a decent enough play.
