The Star Wars The Magic of Myth exhibit comes to the Toledo Museum of Art on Sunday, Aug. 5th. This is one of only 5 places in the US that the Exhibit travels to. It is not to be missed! Special guests over the 5 month course of the show will include Doug Chiang, Steve Sansweet, and David West Reynolds and they will be autographing and lecturing. I hope everyone makes the time to come to Toledo for this unique opportunity.

Great! Glad to hear it! There was a pretty splashy article in yesterday's (Sunday) Toledo Blade and the excitement is really growing 'round here. Why, just the other day I caught a glimpse of the Probe Droid model being escorted into the Exhibit gallery and I'm pretty sure I saw Darth Maul himself (his costume and lightsaber at the very least) lurking in a dark corner.

Doug Chaing speaks THIS COMING SUNDAY at 1pm! Get yer tickets NOW!

Well, we lived through opening weekend: lines at the doors, fans in great costumes, Doug Chaing speaking and signing....did I forget something? Oh, yeah! ONE OF THE BEST EXHIBITS THIS TOWN HAS EVER SEEN!

Its Star Wars Heaven, plain and simple. And its only going to get better before it all ends on Jan. 5th, 2002.

Please don't forget that Paul Huston, ILM digital matte artist (AND he was a model maker for the Original Trilogy!) will be speaking at the TMA on Saturday, September 22nd. Another rare opportunity to hear about Star Wars from the inside.

    Information is at: http://www.toledomuseum.org/exhibitions.html

Don't miss this excellent opportunity to see the exhibit before it leaves the area.

We have driven to Toledo twice already, for Doug Chiang's talk and for the Halloween event. The folks at the Toledo Museum of Art were very nice to us on both occastions!

    :)

Here are pictures I took the opening day of Star Wars Magic of Myth at the Toledo Museum of Art on August 5th 2001, and it was also Quincy's birthday.

On Oct. 28th the Toledo Museum of Art held their annual Halloween fantasy. Many costumed folks made appearances, including several members of the 501st!

Unfortuneately, we missed Steve, but I sent him my appologies. I really wanted to see him again, but it is a long drive.

Yup, we have been there a few times already. I'm not sure but I think that another outing is in the works. I'll try to post a date when I find out.
