Alright guys, we're only a few days away now... I called the Brit Arms to confirm our reservation and we are all greens for launch. 11am for the pre-party/muster and 5pm for the post-party/err... party.

Anyway, we have half the patio section reserved just for us so we can have 20-30 people chilling out there easy.

They also have big screens that we can watch something on one of them there *cough*Revisited*cough* however we do need to bring our own portable DVD player and connecting cables so that we can get Star Wars Revisited on one. Preferably with a long AC cables cos they're kinda on these high platforms things but the people at the Brit said they could help us with the ladders/hook up and stuff.

I have a portable player we can use but I dunno how the battery will do anymore but I can bring the AC adapter (maybe nice to have an extension cord too... anyone?) but the hook up AV cables are really short. Anyone else have longer AV cables we can use or their own DVD player they wish to volunteer that they know we can hook up easy so that we can pysch ourselves up for the concert? please???

Rogue Squadron will jump into the system early to secure the site and attempt the hook up with the DVD player we got. It'd be nice to have a back up DVD player though. Feel free to relay this to all parties that are interested in joining us, the more the merrier.

Just confirmed with the manager of the Brit that people can get started at 11 AM for those that one to get to the venue earlier.

It's been years since I've joined you guys for anything, but I may join you on this. I'm a bit late on the uptake, as I haven't gotten my tickets yet; do you guys know if there are still tickets available for the 2pm show? I'll probably check the official site tomorrow. Provided there are still tickets, even if I can't sit with you guys, a beer afterwards sounds good.

lol... In the interest of security I was thinking of saying something similiar but thought better of it in a passive attempt to be cordial.

 

When I say years ago, I mean like 8 or 9. I was a bit more interested in the South Bay Star Wars Fan Club at the time, but I did make it out to the Metreon for a movie or two.

In any case, thanks for bringing that post to my attention, I must have missed it last time I was reading through the posts. However, it appears as though more of my family than myself and my brother are interested in going, and we're gonna end up going to the 7pm showing.

Rebel Legion members just got their time-line instructions for the event.

Those of us volunteering for the 2:00pm show need to be there by 11:30am. They need us dressed and ready by 12:30 when doors open. I will probably need to be there at 11:30 to help as a handler and just make sure all RL members are taken care of and get in OK. I wanted to have lunch with all of you, but I don't think it is going to work out. Wish I could stop by and get some take-out!

 

We'll down a few in the RL's honor then.

 

I won't be able to go see this with all of you after all. I wish I could, but I'm gonna have to pass it up. The 2pm show on Oct. 11th,Sunday. If someone wants my ticket, please PM me. Thanks.

1) How long an extension cord?
2) How long would the AV cables have to be? I don't have super long ones, but some medium length maybe...? Depends on what you mean by long.
3) What type of AV cables? RCA? Coax?
