Star Wars Concerts

    I am writing a paper on fan bases from movies, focusing mainly on the fan bases of Star Wars, and The Lord of the Rings. As many of you probably know, Howard Shore has composed a Lord of the Rings Symphony based on the music of the Lord of the Rings Trilogy and is now currently on tour with it. My question is has John Williams ever done a concert or concerts of the music from the Star Wars Saga? I need to find evidence of this in a peridoical source. When I type in John Williams into Lexis Nexis, I keep getting Metallica to come up.

    He has been a guest conductor for many orchestras. I know he did a weekend conducting the Chicago Symphony last November.

    And, of course, the Boston Pops played Star Wars music a lot when he was the conductor.
