I PM Kari and Sonya and You Allen to cordinate. We had a blast indeed my friend! By the way, are you going to make it to the june 13th meeting her at Debbie's house in Victorville?

 

Friday is my day off so Thursday sounds good. Our weekly staff meeting are Thursdays at 2pm so maybe we can schedule around that. I am going to do my darnedest to make the June meeting.

 

did we ever get a grand total of the raffle money?

 

BTW the helmet raffle winner stopped by today and picked up his helmet. For once i planned ahead and remembered to take pictures of him holding the helmet. Sadly on his way out to his car he was mugged of the helmet by two short geeky types wearing matching black Star Wars t-shirts and wearing glowing necklaces. Tragic

 

My blood started to boil until I figured it out...good one!

 

Who would i be if i didn't make you work a little bit. But yes, it was a joke alluding that Allen and I really wanted that helmet (which we did). One of the guy's relatives works for Lucas actually, which is kind of cool. And he was very nice and tried on the helmet for us.

So we were sad to see the helmet go, but so glad that it went in the name of such good causes.

 

Adam, you had me going for a moment, then I laughed! Good thing a certain other librarian didn't know about the helmet pick up and she may have also been involved in the mugging!

Can we give you guys actual cash from the raffle or do we need to give you books?

For those that asked, we made a smidge under $400 on the raffle.

 

Allen and i will have to ask about the particulars of the raffle donation, hopefully a lot of it will be up to you to decide how it's used and conditions.

Lookie here lookie lookers! I made this up to present to Adam + Allen for the helmet raffle. This will make a good photo op I believe. I'm going to see about getting the paper down there to also take one. I'll keep you posted.

I've been having a heart attack all day long due to the fact that I couldn't find the raffle money! I tossed it someplace "safe" when I went to LA last week. It was so safe even I couldn't find it.

I just found it!!!!
