i'm not sure if there's any semantic difference, but the actual phrase (with punctuation) used by Mary was "It's approved!" rather than "sanctioned". She also said "Have fun."

 

When Allen told me about this the other day, I was so stoked! What's really cool is the fact that it should be covered by Bantha Tracks. Wouldn't it be cool if we, as in the library and IEFF were in an upcoming Star Wars Magazine?

I'm meeting with Allen and Adam next week to start the planning for this event. I'll post where we're at and what's needed from us to make this a super duper boss rad awesome neato burrito event!

 

i don't think we have the budget for burritos.

 

Adam and I met today with fearless leader who must be part postman as he made it made it through the wind, the rain, and the snow to catch up with us. We've got a lot of exciting ideas kicking around already for May 29th! So stay tuned!

 

Indeed on the many great ideas floating around! You'll want to spread the word about this event for sure. We're putting out our feelers to folks in the SW Community to possibly show up for this event. Will keep you all posted for sure. Oh yeah, as part of the festivities, we were tossing around the idea (which we agreed was a good one), that we could have a JAR JAR BINKS dunk tank. Ah yes...the fun with that one!

 

Anyone with any dunk tank connections please let Mike, Adam or I know ASAP. We really, really want to see thie Jar-Jar dunk tank become a reality!!!

 

Man i love you guys and the 501st an the Rebels.

 

Mike from the 501st contacted us today. All I can say for now is that Mike and the 501st are right on top of things and really going that extra mile this year as far as making this a premiere Star Wars event.

 

We've gotten some fairly exciting news about potential guests for the event. I believe fearless leader will give a little hint of what we know at this point at the meeting on sat.

 

I have another dozen or so egg cartons. People are thrilled to finally have someplace to get rid of them!

The egg carton fairy showed up at the library this morning. I went next door to the office and when I got back, there was a bag with a dozen egg cartons on my desk. I get several of them in my box on a daily basis and even had a bag of them waiting by my door one morning when I got to work. I have no idea where most of them come from. It's kind of amusing!
