Hello everyone -- I have been looking through this thread, and I have enjoyed seeing everyone's dolls! Sorry if this is a question that has been answered (if so, I missed it) -- but does anyone know of any SW doll clothing patterns online?

Thanks for any information, and have fun with your dolls!

    Dally

Hi xMichellex, do you mean a doll-sized version or a you-sized version?

There is a thread on the Water gown here:

It's linked from the Thread Index for this forum:

Thanks, BenaeQuee! I finshed the doll a while ago, but it took me a long time to get the latest pictures up. However, she has her own page now on my website: http://blue-eyedpadme.com/clonewars.html

Sorry for the triple post! Just finished another one and can't edit my last post.

Slave Leia's outfit--I didn't do her hair as this doll is trying to become the original leia. :)

Thanks Ame! I used air-drying clay and sculpted them on. I love how it turned out!

Ok, I guess I'll just post this here. :p

I wanted to bring up Nostradamus' thread again from before Celebration III, proposing a fan-made SW doll exhibit/contest. I would really like to see something like this happen at CV, so much so that I am willing to take the lead in making this happen. If anyone is interested in participating, please let me know. I've also posted this information on Prego, which is a doll message board that I belong to.

I am unsure at this point exactly what form this exhibition would be in, whether I want to try to make it an official event, or just apply for a table in the Fan Fair hall. I think it would be a lot of fun either way, and probably about the same amount of work. Anyway, it's something to think about. Feel free to PM me with any ideas, comments, or questions!

    Hello!

My name is Joanna, and I've been lurking around here for awhile. I figured I'd wait and actually get a Padme doll made so I could have something to show before starting in here. But I discarded that idea. :)

Lets see... the dolls I've done before are all cloth. But all the pictures I'd be posting are of non-Star Wars dolls. Is that okay?

I look forward to chatting with you!

    Hello! Long time no see!

I still think this is a great idea and I have already been trying to figure out how I will be able to bring my dolls to Celebration V.

I brought 3 of the 18" dolls to Celebration IV in LA and three to Celebration Japan in my suitcase / armor case. I did not bring any armor with me to either of those conventions, so I could fit 3 dolls and still have room for some clothes and my uniform. I think I do want to bring a set of armor with me to CV & that takes up the majority of the space in my case.

I may have to ship my dolls to me there. Right now I have (at least) 7 - 18" dolls in Star Wars costumes, plus a few more (doll) Star Wars costumes that can alternate. I would send them in a big box (or two) to me.

Whether or not the SW doll show happens for CV, I'll still bring a few dolls. :)

BUT, it would be SUPER-AWESOME to see what other fans have created!

I know that LFL folks were really interested in the original CIII doll show idea.

I have a feeling that if there is enough fan doll-making/creating interest to support this idea for CV, that it will fly.

Nostradamus, I really like the Queen Amidala. It must be much easier to work with the 18" girls instead of the 12" ones. :p

I think it's a good idea to show off dolls at CV, but I have no way to go there. :_| Oh well.

I really hope I can make this happen, but I'm going to need some help. Mostly at this point I need to know if people are interested in participating.

I would, but I don't think that I could enter by sending a picture of the doll. Oh well. *sighs*

Hi! :) I may be wrong (I probably am), but I have a feeling that if you're interested in one of these absolutely gorgeous dolls, you'll have to go the commission route. Commissions *are* fun, though. [:D]

Is it okay to post about non-Star Wars dolls?

Okay, so this doll was inspired by Padme's blue Tattoine poncho from AOTC. She's my first re-root, my third re-paint, and my first re-paint of an "official" Barbie. I used this pattern for the outfit.

Her name is Harmony. (Can you tell that I like hippies?)

    This is her before: [image=http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4058/4350789300_7bfc8e6954.jpg]

    This is her now: [image=http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2727/4350786876_21d8071c70.jpg]
