Star Wars DVD's

Poimiine e 8 decembrie, avem lansare in Romania. Eu va recomand, celor care au acces in Bucuresti, sa verificati si pretul de la Carrefour, s-ar putea sa aveti o surpriza placuta in comparatie cu restul locurilor unde gasiti dvd-ul (cu vreo 150.000 mai ieftin).

 

Ceva noutati cu PROOPTIKI ?!

Eu am inteles ca va fi in jur de 600.000.

Am stat si m-am gandit la asta cateva zile. Exista o metoda: Dai quote reply, copiezi in notepad codul rezultat, intri in alt topic, dai reply, copizi din notepad et voila! (A inteles cineva ceva de aici?)

 

Daca e NUMAI 600.000, nu ar fi scump. But I doubt that!

 

Nu stiu daca varianta mea nu-i un pic mai rapida decat cea a lui SVAndrei. Deci, pentru a scrie a cui este quote-ul, adaugati la inceput

Mesajul Doonei este datat ieri, la ora 14.33; iar al meu la 14.43.
Asta inseamna ca, datorita vitezei lente de procesare a postarilor pe forum, da ctre serverul TFN, mesajul ei nu aparuse "la rand" pe desktop-ul meu, atunci cind am plasat eu reply-ul meu.
Ca altfel nu mai intrebam eu atita , daca ii vedeam mesajul !

Pe de alta parte, am auzit la un post de FM din Buc. ca maine va fi lansarea.
... si o sa urmez sfatul Doonei, caci am pe linga mine si un Carrefour (ORHIDEEA), dar si un CORA (LUJERULUI)

Am un DVD writer, dar pentru putin timp, ca nu al meu. Hai sa ne organizam repede.

 

PAi trebuie sa cumpere careva StarWars DVD-urile...alea cu 600.000 si sa ne tragem (RIP, ca altfel nu merg copiate), fac eu rost de program daca tu nu poti sau sergiu, si ne tragem, daca vrei of course si ai timp...

DAR!!! Acum exact un minut m-a sunat Tavi din Carrefour spunandu-mi ca tine in mana ROTS pe DVD, original. L-am rugat sa-mi ia si mie un exemplar si il platesc ramburs sau cum doreste Uraa! Happy Happy, Joy, Joy!

... am mai spus odata fraza asta, in ziua ulterioara vizionarii ROTS la cinema :"ati avut vreodata sentimentul ca, dupa ce asteptati ceva foarte multa vreme, in sfarsit PRIMITI ?!"

...de mic copil am avut un vis; sa am SW original in limba romana.
Azi, la 36 de ani, visul copilului de 12 ani din mine s-a implinit.
Tocmai ce m-am intors de la Carrefour, de unde am cumparat SW 3 - ROTS in format DVD

PROOPTIKI ROMANIA nu se dezminte si nu a facut nici un rabat de la calitate; copertile arata E X C E L E N T !!!
Inauntru sunt 2 diskuri, deci "cercul este complet", iar descrierea BONUS-Disk-ului este ametitoare ...

Probabil nu o sa ma creada nimeni, dar inca nu am desfacut cutia ...
Privesc DVD-ul ca un copil care a privit multa vreme prin vitrina unei cofetarii, un platou plin cu bomboane, placinte aburinde si prajituri inecate in frisca si ciocolata, fara sa simta frigul de afara , gandindu-se ca va veni si vremea lui.

Il voi deschide acasa ..
Asa cum spuneam mai demult, mie imi trebuie o anumita ambianta pentru a "vedea" STAR WARS; orice ar presupune acel "a vedea".

Daca SVAndrei are momentan un dvd-wr...cand primesti dvd-urile originale nu ii le dai lui sa faca rip?si sa imi iau si eu o copie

 

Am luat DVD-ul!!!!!

Scuzati racnetele, dar sunt al naibii de fericita! Am plecat la scoala mai devreme, ca sa am timp sa trec pe la Carrefour si sa il cumpar ( 499.999 lei vechi). O sa il vad in seara asta si de-abia imi incap in piele de bucurie!

Increcati (daca aveti sistem 5.1 sau 6.1), sa "ascultati" filmul cit suportati de tare (voi sau vecinii, asta daca va pasa de ei )

Eu am mers pe 36 de gradatii de volum, din 44 posibile (...44 parca .. ? nu mai stiu)

Filmul se aude superb, coloana sonora este mai buna ca la EP 1+2.
Nu am avut timp sa vizionez si BONUS DISK-ul, dar cu siguranta saptamana viitoare ...
In plus :
-coperta este de calitate EXTRA, imprimata fata-verso, iar carcasa este alb-transparent, in acest fel putindu-se vedea si fata a doua a copertii, pe care sunt imrpimate capitolele
-cele doua diskuri sunt , in primul rind , serigrafiate DE EXCEPTIE, chiar mai bine ( a se citi "mai fin") decit TRILOGIA.
-diskul cu filmul este imprimat cu VADER (imaginea aceea pe fond portoclaiu)
-BONUS DISK-ul este imprimat cu YODA, suparat foc !
-in interior veti gasi si un talon de tombola , unde putem castiga (forta fie cu noi !), un LCD TV marishor. PHILIPS !
-coloana sonora este 5.1 EXTENDED, cu modul de sunet in ENGL, RUSA, MAGHIARA
-subtitrari in toate aceste limbi, si chiar mai multe

... hai, mai descoperiti si voi ... ca e doar 500.000 ... la pretul asta chiar ar fi o blasfemie sa-l luam piratat de pe vreundeva ...

Cred ca am desoperit un EASTER EGG, dar nu stiu cum sa-l accesez : pe pagina de ...subtitrari parca, in toiul bataliei de la Templu, deasupra usii de la intrarea in Templu scrie THX 1138 oarecum "in relief" ; cred ca trebuie sa gasim accesul spre acel link.

Haha, cind am pus diskul cu filmul ... am intzepenit ...
A stat ceva timp (1 minut) in player ... si deodata : NO DISK INSIDE !
...si s-a deschis sertarul !
Evident ca am murit de spaima !
Am luat diskul, am inchis aparatul ... l-am redeschis ... etc.

Star Wars Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith DVD Review

November 1st is a day that is marked on every Star Wars fan's calender. It's a day that "The Saga" will be complete, at least as far as viewing in your own home theater is concerned. Since we've all seen the film already - or at least I hope we all have - I'm going to skip doing this review on the movie itself, and instead focus on the actual DVD - the technical aspects, the transfer and sound quality, and of course, the special features. So be warned, I will be giving away some "spoilers" of sorts, by showing some screen shots of the deleted scenes along with some explanation of said scenes and other features, so if you'd rather wait till Tuesday to pick up your own copy, click away now. If you just can't wait, read on...

THE PACKAGING: After the fantastic job that was done on last year's Original Trilogy box set, I was a little let down to see that Episode 3 would be released in a regular, every day keepcase instead of going the extra mile and giving us a nicer digipak style package. But then again, I guess this allows collectors (such as myself) to put this on the shelf next to Episodes 1 and 2, and fit in with the same design style. Plus, if George gave us all the bells and whistles with the release, we wouldn't have any reason to buy it again next time he puts it out, would we?

One interesting thing about this release is that it is ONLY available on DVD. It is the first time that a "Major Motion Picture" release has skipped the VHS format completely. I guess that's just George Lucas paving the way for the future of movies once again. It does make a certain amount of sense if you think about it - why create a motion picture in a completely digital format only to have it downgraded to an analog format (VHS) and degrade the quality for the consumer? I'm sure that there are still people out there living in caves somewhere that don't own a single DVD player (counting my PC's and game systems, I've got a total of 9 in my house) but I would have to imaging that 99.9% of the people out there who consider themselves fans of a series like Star Wars own at least one DVD player. If not more.

THE TRANSFER: The transfer on this film is amazing. Completely amazing. It is presented in Anamorphic Widescreen (2.35:1), which has pretty much become the standard in today's day and age. And I think this film will become somewhat of a standard in itself, the one film that every other transfer will be compared to. Because the film was originally shot in a digital format, it was transfered directly to DVD without converting from an analog source, and it makes a huge difference. In my opinion, this transfer is even better than the Episode 1 and 2 transfers, which were incredible in their own right. But this one blows them away. It is, as far as I can tell, flawless.

THE AUDIO: Again, the audio portion of this disc blows away any previous Star Wars transfer that has been released, either VHS, LaserDisc or DVD. The lows are booming, even with my subwoofer on a regular setting I could feel the floor and my coffee table rumbling. The dialog is crisp and clear, and you really can hear everything that's said. Of course, this is just the way it should be, but sometimes the mix can get muddy, or there are flaws of one sort or another. But not here.

Sound options here include a Dolby 5.1 Surround EX track and a Dolby Surround 2.0 track. There are also French and Spanish Dolby Surround 2.0 tracks included, along with English subtitles for the hearing impaired.

THE AUDIO COMMENTARY: Similar to the other films in the Prequel Trilogy, the Maker himself, George Lucas, sits in to give his thoughts on the commentary track. The amount of knowledge that he has - I mean, he did create all of this, after all - is just astounding. He has the answers to everything, right on the tip of his tounge. But, of course, he isn't giving everything away. Certain questions
