FF:NZ Star Wars Episode 2: Attack of the Clones

I was laughing when he said he went to buy his action figure and they were all sold out. "They probably only had three to begin with." He obviously underestimates the power of Star Wars geeks.

 

More unadvertised Episode II info on Entertainment Tonight today (Friday, 10 May) - it should be repeated on Monday at 12:00noon.

There may well be more everyday next week with the build-up and premiere.

Today it was Goofy's turn ... err, Hayden's turn. Didn't say much, except finding it strange seeing his face on bags of chips.

 

That's it, I'll have to watch ET every night from now on!

On a friendlier note, The Late Show with David Letterman will feature an interview with Natalie Portman. This will screen on Prime on Monday May 20th at 10:25pm

Tobey Macguire, who stars as Spider-Man, and Natalie Portman, who stars in the up-coming Star Wars, Episode II: Attack of the Clones, have been named the World's Sexiest Vegetarians for 2002 by the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.

Interesting, animals should be treated ethically, but humans can be judged as "sexy" or not ... hmmmmmm, there's an organisation to avoid being associated with!

 

Sexiest Vegeterians!!! LOL

It's not like they couldn't win that title if they weren't vegetarians.

 

The North Shore Libraries have some free cardboard bookmarks from Village Cinemas with Spider-Man on one side and Episode II on the other side.

The Episode II side isn't as good as the Spider-Man side though - it's just a copy of the poster art filling only about a third of the height.

They may be available in other libraries too - the Episode II side lists cinemas in Hamilton and various Auckland branches (Manukau, Broadway, Highland Park, Westgate, and WestCity).

Buzz: I've got the bookmarks too! Took three from the Central City library--they put the SW side up. The poster got chopped up pretty bad , but it's still nice.

I saw the EP2 Promo video yesterday. (I work in the same offices as Welly TV) Not sure if they have showed it on normal TV yet I hadn't seen it before.

According to the Village site, AOTC is rated M. Bit of a shame ... Star Wars has that reputation for being something the whole family could enjoy.

 

I saw it rated PG somewhere else (in NZ)...

I hope it is PG.

 

The Movie Reviewer is on this morning's Good Morning show (Tuesday, not sure what time though) - he * MIGHT * be reviewing Episode II.

 

Rats! I had to go out, so I don't know if he reviewed Episode II or not.
