Even though Lando hasn't been confirmed for the sequel trilogy, I'm still surprised I haven't seen much fan made art for what Lando might look like. So I gave it a whirl!

I do think that there's a desire on the part of a small portion of fandom to introduce Force Users with X Men-like variety of powers. Some FU can do lightning bolt, others can do mind controls, etc.

 

I would not call it desire but as Kylo now can freeze blaster shots and people I guess it goes in that direction

Darth Smurf Agreed, Battle Front 2 also gave Rey and Kylo different powers/ability modifiers v so that's kind of X Men (I assume other FU in the game also have different powers/ability modifiers from Rey and Kylo):
