ST Star Wars: Episode IX - December 20, 2019

If the gap, a year and a half which I know is not that long, feels like too long of a wait, then maybe they should fill it in with something smaller.

An Ewok Adventure. Some TV special. Something not too big, but makes people happy.
I suppose we will get the mystery successor to Rebels....

But I'd still like some Ewoks.

 

YAY ! Perfect month for Star Wars. And it was a dumb idea to have Star Wars in the same month as the next Avengers.

 

If Wonder Woman 2 was not occupying the 13th of December then I'm 100% sure EP9 would have gone there - maybe EP9 should have just gone in there anyway & see if Wonder Woman jumped....

 

The sequel to Wonder Woman officially got pushed up to 11/1/19, giving itself some breathing room before Episode IX dominates the holiday season.

 

Smart move. That's seven weeks before SW9 which is WAY before and won't get in the way of each other whatsoever.

Makes me wonder what's up with the live action Mulan which STILL doesn't have a release date. And Frozen 2 comes out November 27. None of these will interfere with each other!

 

Mulan was pushed to 2019. There was a casting call a while back, but I haven't heard anything since. I don't think they've moved past the casting stages, but I could be wrong.

 

Well that was bound to happen - they should now shift EP9 to the 13th December.....

 

Mulan will probably now be the spring 2020 live action and Little Mermaid will probably be released in the summer 2020.

Maybe, but I think they'll stick with the 20th.

 

I seem to remember that.. But my memory isn't great.

I hope they have enough time and aren't rushing things.

 

Looking forward to the speeder chase through a forest in Episode IX.

 

To create sort of a book end of this saga, I'm hoping for a pod race between Luke and Snoke on Jakku.

Or maybe take her to some lovely romcom.... Oooh. Cats, the musical, the movie, is out on the same day. She'll love that.
