Star Wars: Episode VII: The Sith Hits The Fan

 

EPISODE VII
The Galactic Alliance

More than 30 years have passed since the Rebel Alliance were victorious
at the legendary Battle of Endor..
The destruction of the 2nd Death Star, and the ultimate demise of The Emperor
and the infamous Lord Vader are now a distant memory..
But the peace that followed was a fragile one. The Rebel Alliance struggled to maintain
influence over the Galaxy. Which quickly became fractured, with various regions succumbing
to the control of power hungry Gangster cartels and a splinter cell formed of the Old Empire..

Something along these lines would be cool. (Obviously it's not complete)

 

Why?

 

I still like the title The Ancient Fear. We had Revenge of the Sith and Return of the Jedi. The Ancient Fear could be a counter balance to A New Hope.

 

It's in-specific with little to do with the actual story of the movie. Crappy as "Attack of the Clones" is it actually happens within the film. The Sith don't do anything menacing in the movie!

It sounds too much like the title of an EU novel.

It's chinsey.

As for pulp origins, "The Scarlet Menace" was an issue of the character "The Phantom," one of the most in your face pulp characters ever created. Shares none of the Star Wars asthetic whatsoever, at least SOME of SW is serious, practically none of the Phantom is.


I see no reason to defend my dislike to the title of Episode I. If you like it, great, i don't. We'll have to leave it at that.

The whole movie boils down to the last 10 mins. with a game of Sabacc between Han and Lando... and Lando really wants the Falcon back...

The Phantom Menace -Darth Sidious or The Sith in general
Attack Of The Clones - The Clone Army (obvious)
Revenge Of The Sith - (Obvious again)
A New Hope - Luke
The Empire Strikes Back - Not just at the Rebels but at the main 3 personally
Return Of The Jedi - Anakin or the Jedi in General

maybe they'll search the EU for title ideas

 

The only title that makes sense is the one that was brought up a few months ago... The Ancient Fear. (An Ancient Fear sounds better, IMO)
