FF:NZ Star Wars fact files in New Zealand

The forms have been coming with every subscription delivery, although the last one was the Australian form.

BUT, you don't need a form, you can subscribe over the phone (at the same time as ordering your back issue) by calling (09)308-2871, and you should still recieve your freebies ...

- a cap with your first delivery
- a mug with your second delivery
- a T-shirt with your third delivery

But you may have missed out on the mousemat since that was a "reply within 10 days" deal (although it doesn't say within 0 days of what, so could just be a gimmick to encourage people to sign-up faster).

 

I started my subscription on Tuesday, they asked what size t-shirt, do u think subscribing this late, I'd still get a cap & a mug?

 

You should get them. The freebies (except the mousemat and the binders) are based on your delivery, not a particular issue.

There's only a "one size fits all" mug and cap, so they wouldn't ask your size for those.

I've just read on the Usenet newsgroups that the Fact Files are up to 104 issues (and possibly going higher), rather than the original 75. I'm not sure how true this is or if this person has confused the Star Wars ones with another series - evidently the Star Trek series was over 200 issues (and could probably still be going with a new movie soon and the Enterprise TV series). Time to keep your bank balances topped up.



Subscribers should be getting there next installment about this week (depedning on what Christmas mail is doing to overseas shipping times).

On another note, those on / near the North Shore in Auckland and still trying to find copies from the shops might want to check the Witchoulls branch in Albany - when I was there last weekend they had about 10 copies each of issue 15 and 16.

 

When you get #16, go look at the last page and tell me what you see...

Nope, not yet, but the Christmas craziness ALWAYS plays havoc with magazines coming from overseas.

Heya all. Its been a while.

O.K. I too was getting concerned as to when I'd recieve my first shipment of fact files, so I rang them today. Turns out its been really busy, changed distribution companies, so anyway, they should be arriving anyday now, were sent out on Friday.

Yesterday I saw a couple of copies of Issue #20 in the Milford (Auckland) Whitcoulls and it does come with another free binder (same design as before).

 

I've just received my four new issues today - issue numbers 14, 15, 16, and 17 (with Ewoks on the cover ).


There's probably a break over the Christmas / New Year holidays, so the next set of issues may not arrive until the end of January or beginning of February.
