    ~Jedi Temple, Telos~

Logan let the news of the oncoming Sith Armada sink in for a moment. No, they won't destroy another Temple. I won't let them.

He took a deep breath and jumped out of bed, planning out his next actions. He looked across the hall for Andur, he wasn't there. Logan sprinted down the corridor and tried to brainstorm possible places where the old Jedi could be.

It seemed every nook and cranny had been searched before Logan's eye caught the sight of Andur in one of the lightsaber training rooms. He entered.

"Looks like we got another one of those Sith attacks. Let's go chop some heads."

    IC: Oatti Hoosh
    Location:
Roof top, Jedi Warrior Temple, Telos

Thane destroyed the wave of the Sith bombers and their fighter escorts with ease only the Mystic could manage. His mastery of the force was unmatched. Oatti could only stand and take in the marvelous force e use Mystic Thane displayed. Augmenting both Oatti and Suuva and destroying the initial wave of fighters had weakened Thane momentarily. He would need time to rest and these frigates were entirely different beasts than the fighters or the drop ships.

Oatti could feel his grip on the force tightening with the help of Thane. He had never felt this much power before, not even with aide of the dark side. It felt good and he felt confident. His lightsaber was of no use, so he attached it to his belt. Oatti used the force to infiltrate Suuva?s mind and inform him of his plan. No doubt Suuva?s abilities within the force increased exponentially with Thane?s help.

Large bolts from the Heavy weapons outfitted on the frigates crashed down around them trying to lay waste to the well built Warrior Temple. The heavy blaster bolts shook the Temple with incredible force but the two Jedi Knights the kept their balance. They felt no fear, and they put their trust into the force.

Oatti took in a deep breath, clearing his mind, as his hands moved out to his sides, palms facing the frigate. He began to gather on the strength of the force and reach out to grab on side of the foremost frigate which lead the assault on the Temple. Suuva was found doing the same to the other side.

They both had achieved a firm grip on their sides of the frigate; they could feel the force taking hold of it with little resistance. Oatti brought his arms up as if they themselves had physical hold on the frigate. This was used as a better concentration tool to focus his energy on this task. Laser bolts continued to pound the Temple?s air defenses, generating considerable damage.

Another deep breath was taken and upon exhale Oatti and Suuva both used the force to rip the frigate apart. Debris and members of the ship began to fall to their cold death from 10,000 feet in the air. Their grip on the ship did not release as they kept hold of their sides. With one vicious whip like movement, the two Jedi Knights sent the ship crashing into the other two frigates that flanked them. Both of the Knights grips were released and they stood strong, still being augmenting by Thane.

The frigates took a nose dive and crashed into the wintery surface of Telos? South Pole. Satisfied with their accomplishment, the two Knights looked at each other with approval. Oatti then turned his attention back to Mystic Thane. The Mystic looked at peace as continued to rest and gather his strength. He seemed to know something Oatti or Suuva didn?t. Like this wasn?t all the Sith had sent to combat the Jedi. There would be more. He turned his attention back outwards towards the destruction that lay in front of them. The debris of the fighters, drop ships and frigates were scattered all over the battle field, very noticeable within the white blizzard. The feeling began to creep up on Oatti?s back. He too could now feel what was coming. It was the dark side.

Andur came to a halt, his arms spread, and saber pointed down and back, when Karns message rippled through the force. Andur shut down his saber with a weary shake of his head Your threats are empty boy, not even the dark lord of the sith could find my family now, your in a big galaxy with no friends and many enemies...remember no one is so lost to the dark that they cannot be brought to the light. His eyes snapped open as alarm klaxons reverberated around the temple, he was just about to exit the room when Logan came running in "Looks like we got another one of those Sith attacks. Let's go chop some heads" the lad spoke with unrestrained enthusiasm "Slow down lad" Andur said as the two of them left in the direction of the council hall "A battle rushed is a battle lost" he said as they moved past jedi rushing to defence positions "Never be eager to chop heads, that can lead you down the same path as Karn and believe me...its not a path you weant to walk". Eventually the two found several members of the council "Andur strode up to them and gave the elder Kel Dor a small bow "Is there anyway we can help?" he said with a small smile as he turned to look out over the organised chaos that was the temple mobilising for defence.

"I might be able to help with that..."

Raxus Nihl's eyes went wide as he suddenly felt the impressive presence behind him, he turned sharply and saw the one who had spoken.

An assassin.....Lord Nihl clenched his teeth under his helmet, his master had obviously sent someone to keep an eye on him. The destruction of the fleet must have something to do with this mans presence. The apprentice projected his soulless presence across the immediate area, his icy gaze fell upon the man in all its intensity. "You have information that I need, I will have it now."

The street was tense, the soldiers around the two force users became thick with dread, a feeling almost palpable, Lord Nihl's hands were resting under his cloak, hovering above his sabers..

"You have information that I need, I will have it now."

Calen had watched, and felt, Nihl's anger rise. Perhaps it was from Calen having already accomplished what had been needed to have been done here before Nihle had even arrived? Or, more likely in Calen's mind, it was the thought that his master had sent the assassin to keep an eye on him. Nonetheless Calen was neither intimidated nor impressed. Well, maybe a little of the latter but the sith before him's lack of finesse and skill from earlier made it hard for Calen to feel impressed at all.

As these thoughts coursed their way through Calen's mind, he kept a constant, almost passive track of where Nihl's hands were. Even now it seemed they were itching to draw the lightsabers that were surely under that cloak. No doubt if a duel did occur only one of the two would leave alive. They were both trained killers after all, if in different fashions.

"Do I?" Calen asked as if he hadn't a care in the world who the man before him was. "I suppose I do. Still, would it really hurt to say, oh I don't know, please, perhaps? A touch of patience wouldn't hurt either Lord Nihl."

The apprentices anger was kept in check, he was trained to extinguish the lives of Jedi, not to indulge the little social dancing that this Sith was using. He knew that this man was responsible for the destruction of his quarries fleet and that he had been too late to participate, his anger had led him to annihilate large parts of the planet. Lord Nihl was a killer, a weapon wielded by his master to strike true at the Jedi and their beliefs. Outside of the temple he was beginning to learn very quickly that there was more to his title then just the amount of Jedi he killed in single combat.

"I know why you are here...I know my master has sent you, do not pretend that you have any loyalty to what I am trying to achieve for Our Lord. If you have information and any clues to this upstarts whereabouts I will need that to track him down and destroy him."

Lord Nihl eyed the assassin carefully, he knew he did not possess the same skills as this warrior, but their goals were the same. Lord Nihl just preferred a more direct approach, although skilled in the art of stealth and being able to shroud his presence he was always first into the fray, his blades screaming death in the name of his Master.

Calen sighed, "Oh, very well. I sneaked aboard the flagship of the rather ragtag, half put together, and overall eyesore of a fleet. From there it was easy to get to the main computer core. They didn't even have basic security scanners in the maintenance crawlspace to give you an idea of how worthless they're security was. From there it was a simple matter to get through the encryption and enter a command that linked the entire fleet's command's to my datapad, before having every single one of them engage their self destructs simultaneously after I had landed. As for where he went..."

Calen grabbed his datapad and quickly brought up its connection to his ship's sensors. After that he had his ship's navicomputer begin plotting where their prey might have gone from his trajectory. "Unfortunately there are a great many worlds along his present trajectory. Searching them all would be a waste of time."

The pair could not have expected more from the ragtag forces this new threat was bringing together, it was one thing to engage in planet wide rebellion, it was quite another to challenge a galactic size empire. The destruction of his initial forces would have put the Jedi into a spiral of rage, he would have thought himself an emperor...but so easily toppled.

Nihl gazed passed the assassin for a moment, his soldiers were rounding up the civilians and sending them on their way, they would forever be reminded that the true Lord of the Sith is not easily betrayed.

Lord Nihl, turned away from the newcomer, staring out into the destruction, slowly he removed his helmet, resting it in the cradle of his arm, he turned back to the man, his eyes blazing.

"So what should be our course of action...we have little time, I can leave my men and my fleet here if need be, I can destroy this upstart myself, but I cannot kill what I cannot find."

Tanis was sitting casually in the command chair of his flagship. His cheek was resting in an almost bored fashion on his fist. Telos was such a boring planet. His talents were squandered on an obliteration mission like this one. There really wasn't anyone worthy here to match him.

He didn't even bother probing the area when they landed. He knew that no challenge awaited him here. It was only when his command deck when utterly silent at the complete and utter destruction of their fighter screen that Tanis looked up with interest.

    "Well that is different..."

He was wearing a new black suit that was identical to the one he had allowed to be ruined on Dantooine.

"Bring up a picture if you would be so kind.."

Tanis felt out with the Force, he felt only a few beings that were on the roof of the Temple. The picture that came up confirmed his suspicions with a view of Three men on the Temple. One of which was kneeling as if he was out of breath.

Thane was still winded when the two Knights flanking him took down a couple of frigates. He was aware of what was going on, but was currently unable to affect it, besides boosting the strength of his allies. Any more than that would be too much of a strain on his powers.

He continued to force himself to relax as the black shapes came rocketing forward. The black pods came at odd angles, dodging the firing patterns that the HK droids were putting down. Eventually the weaving wasn't enough and they were hit.

As soon as they were hit however, the pods burst open and men flew out at high speeds As soon as they were in the air, crimson blades ignited and black cloaked figures spiraled down with much more finesse than individuals would normally be able to do with the Force. Thane could feel that they were also being bolstered by the much larger presence that Thane had felt earlier.

There were four of the men now making short work of the HK droid defenses, moving fast enough to be nothing but a black cloaked blur in the blizzard that they were sprinting around in. As soon as they were done, they turned inwards to the center of the roof where Thane and the others were. Two moved to the opposite side of the trio so that the were effectively boxed in. With the HK Droids effectively out of commission, the incoming ships made short work of the Temple turrets. Suuva and Oatti were going to be too distracted with the enhanced warriors in front of them to do much about the forces landing to assault the Temple. Thane sighed to himself. They had done their job. Now it was up to the others.

All four of the black cloaked figures charged at the same time, their main target was Thane. But having four skilled men split between two warriors, it was going to be hard to say how the Knights would defend their downed comrade. Thane was not ready to rejoin the battle yet.

The black figures were too fast to track all four at the same time.

Thane didn't know how they were going to get out of this one...

Armand snapped his attention to Andur and Logan as they came running up.

"Yes. Yes you can help, we will need combatants of your season. We are a hard bunch here but many of the younger knights have yet to even see combat. We will need your help to force these ingrates out of our home. Now you aren't a Jedi anymore Andur... so I can't order you around, but I do hope you will do your best to help our Order survive another day. After this is all over perhaps we can sit down and discuss our association. Until then, I could use some heavier defenses in the main entrance hallway..."

Andur smiled and the left the master, he set off at a jog towards the main entrance hallway, He came out in a overhead gallery, looking down on a scene of chaos as a battle raged in the hall. Sighing, he dropped his robe to the floor and leapt over the balcony, as he landed in a forward roll his blade ignited and he flowed forward towards the highest consentration of sith. His blade twirled in his hand as he hit a large group sith head on, He leapt spinning into the group, his blade decapitating one man while blocking an oblique strike and backhanding the attacker across the face, the top part of the mans head coming away as the body stood for a moment before dropping to the ground.

Andur glided through the forms, striking weaving and leaping, almost a blur as he moved across the cavernous hallway. He blocked a strike, spun side kicked a sith behind him and turned in time to put 10 inches of his saber through the center of anothers chest. Two sith came at him from opposite angles, he hand struck one in the throat setting the man gagging, then as he lifted the man from the ground with a vice like grip of his neck Andur parried several attacks from his companion before cutting the mans right knee cap off and sending his blade through the mans neck. He lifted the red faced survivor and threw him with the aid of the force high into the air, then sent his blade spinning towards the tumbling figure. His blade transfixed the mans chest before Andur brought it back to Andur's waiting hand just in time for him to spin and block a savage cut to his neck, rolling his wrist he sent the mans blade wide and cut his arm off at the elbow before running him through as well. He turned seeing more sith entering the shattered remains of the doors, with a florish of his blade he charged towards them.

Calen paused in thought for a minute before an idea struck. "I may have the solution to our problem." He paused for a moment, before nodding his head. "Yes I believe I may very well have. My shuttle's sensors, even upgraded as they are, are no match for those of a sith warship's. If we were to put his base trajectory information into your computer while having your ship scan that general path at maximum strength, we may very well find the remnants of his hyperspace wake. From there it would be a simple matter of following it before it decays completely."

Calen took a mental moment to berate himself for not having thought of that earlier before continuing. "And then, my lord, it will be a simple matter for you to remove that annoyance from the galaxy, if even half of what I've heard about your lethality is true..."

Lord Nihl let the plan sink in, this man was being gracious indeed considering the outrage he has committed upon their meeting. He listened carefully to the idea, it seemed sound, it was the quickest way to discover this Jedi's location. The apprentice turned away again, looking into the sky, the desert sky was clear into the heavens, without another word he snapped his helmet back into place.

The assassin smirked from under his hood. "I am well aware of the price of failure Lord Nihl, indeed I have at times been the one to deal out the punishment that often follows..."

A short while later found Calen as well as Lord Daemon's apprentice aboard the latter's flagship. Upon arrival Calen took a deep breath, glad to be aboard a properly secure vessel once more. Taking over a spare computer console, Calen proceeded to enter the sensor data from his shuttle into the ship's computers, resulting in having said ship's scanners sending out a highly focused burst along their target's last known trajectory.

The ship's longer sensor range made a great deal of difference, and it was easy to begin eliminating worlds by the dozens from the list by simply plotting the target's hyperspace wake. According to this data, Calen knew, with a greatly reduced margin for error, the location of nuisance.

"Dantooine." Calen spoke. "He's on Dantooine. And according to the computer, the planet was once host to a jedi temple there at one point..."

A dangerous smile spread across Dameon?s face. A ripple in the Force was all he really needed to know that his Apprentice and the assassin were starting to work together. He still felt Raxus watching the assassin, with every right, but it was under the circumstances of both learning and making sure that Calen didn?t try to betray him. The two had formed an untrusting trust, so to speak.

Daemon?s comm. chimed from his desk and he reached out to see who it was.

    ?What is it??

My Lord, a vessel has just exited hyperspace on the edge of our sensor field.?

Daemon narrowed his eyes. No one knew to look here. Some of Raxus? forces must have talked before they died.

    ?What class is it??

?Unknown my Lord? the style is different than what our senso??

?What do you think ?. It is??

The officer hesitated for a fraction of a second.

    ??.looks Mandalorian my Lord?.?

Daemon slammed his fist onto his desk.

?The Mandalorians are becoming quite a nuisance?. Destroy the vessel at once!?

?Sire, they just jumped back into hyperspace? we are calculating their trajectory and preparing to follow.?

Daemon?s level of irritation was growing.

?Don?t bother? issue orders to move us to the secondary standby point. Byss has been compromised.?

    ?At once My Lord.?

?What is the status of the assault on Telos??

? One moment My Lord I will send the information to your data pad.?

The uplink started as soon as t he comm. was shut down. It seemed that Tanis was getting some heavy resistance. Daemon liked that, it meant that the Jedi still had some fight in them. Perhaps he would meet a foe, worthy of his blade in the coming days.

    IC: Jargus Morail
    Telos Temple

The Sith Forces were making steady headway towards the Temple. They hadn?t expected their entire fighter screen to be taken out at once, but it was a fact that was past. Now they had to compensate and swarm in the front door.

In all honesty, that was perfectly fine. The Sith had overwhelming numbers and a powerful Force User on their side. The fighters were sent out only as a main distraction because the Sith had no intention of destroying the Temple until they downloaded the library to begin with. Jargus Morail was in charge of that particular mission.

He had landed with the second wave in front of the Temple entrance. His black robes and cloak whipping around him in the blizzard. The first wave had done their part well enough. The diversionary group, the expendable men. Those with little to no Force talent and were just good enough with a lightsaber, that the Jedi wouldn?t wonder about the tactic. They were good enough to make the Jedi get cocky with each felled opponent.

Jargus looked around the windswept snowfield quickly then pointed his fingers forward. Now the skilled warriors would break the Jedi lines and make a push to the data core.

Jargus was no ordinary soldier. He was one of the few Masters that the Sith had turned out in the previous years. He was a skilled bladesman and a capable Force User. His men were trained Marauders that would occasionally challenge him for supremacy and his title. In twenty attempts on his life, some blatant, others cover? Jargus was still standing without a scratch. His eyes had been corrupted by the Force as he dove into his anger. They were now orange and yellow. Anyone who looked at the man would know that he was a force to be reckoned with. And now he walked behind his men up the ramp entrance to the Jedi Temple.

The scene before him was brutal. Many of the first wave men were already dead. Many more were losing their heads as some of the Jedi with light whips started attacking from range. Jargus grabbed his lightsaber and ignited the crimson beam in time to intercept a pink laser whip from decapitating one of his subordinates. The lightwhip wrapped around his lightsaber and held true. Both beams of energy sputtering against each other, trying to overpower the other.

The Jedi on the other end of the whip was standing on a balcony above Jargus. He was struggling to pull the whip free but couldn?t get Jargus to budge. Jargus turned his head up to the Jedi slowly, his yellow eyes finally being seen from under his hood. He wrenched his sword arm back and pulled the whip with it. The Jedi came flying off of the balcony. Ordinarily anyone in his position would be flailing fruitlessly trying to correct themselves so that they could land safely. But this was a Jedi Warrior. He twisted into the fall and came down in a battle cry with his fist raised high.

This time however?. It didn?t matter.

Jargus caught him by the throat and held him off the ground, staring into his defiant eyes. Jargus grunted and put his weight into slamming the Jedi down into the ground with enough force to leave the stone floor cracked and broken. The younger man didn?t get back up?.

It was around the point where Jargus stood back up that he noticed one Jedi in particular in a green robe cutting a swath through the remnants of the first wave. Looking at the man?s technique was enough to tell Jargus that this man was also a Master, and quite proficient with his lightsaber. He knew that his men might be able to match the Jedi, but not beat him. He would have to take it upon himself to fell this man.

Jargus started forward and slashed at random Jedi that came at him with impunity. The crowd seemed to part for him as he walked in a straight line towards the Jedi. One last enemy stood in his way. The Knight before him came slashing down at his skull,

The sith stood his ground awaiting Andur, no matter how corrupt the sith was obviously a warrior with some recognition of the code and deserved to be shown respect. Andur halted infront of him, the two men standing like silent sentinels amid a sea of chaos, Andur's blade swept up to his face and back down in a salute "I am Andur Del Jinn...and i shall be your bane" he said with quiet determination.

With a twisting leap he spun horizontally through the air towards the Sith, his blade spinning like a buzz saw, The two masters joined battle with an audible crash, their blades carving the air with such speed they were near blur's, the Sith's power was prodidgious, Andur knew if he let the man land a clean blow, it would carve him in half with or without a lightsaber. Andur moved with sinuous grace as he ducked, weaved, leapt and flowed around the lightning fast strikes of his opponent, each time his blade flicking out to deflect the raging sith's saber away at the last second, only to strike out himself with sharp circular strikes that almost seemed to change direction in mid flight. The two warriors flowed through the maelstrom of battle, locked in this most deadly of duels, the battle itself almost ebbed and flowed in time with their own struggle, Andur moved with all the speed he could muster as he struck out again and again with his saber as well as chaining lightning strike fast kicks into his spinning blade attacks.

The blades crashed. The Force raged like a storm around the two men. Both perfectly countering each other with every fiber of their being. The Dark Side was strong indeed in Jargus. But Andur was equally gifted.

Time and again, green blade met red and locked. Both men fighting for a tactical advantage in their dance of death. Andur had the Sith Master on the defensive, backing him up into the main chaos of the battle all around them. Andur struck high and Jargus was already deflecting. Jargus came in straight and Andur parried wide. Andur kicked Jargus and made him stumble, and Jargus swung his blade around to block the Jedi?s incoming strike for his exposed back.

Neither was gaining the upper hand in this fight. And it didn?t look like either was tiring yet.

Jargus made one final block and leapt back, grabbing onto a Jedi corpse in midair with the Force and flung it at Andur. As soon as his feet hit the ground, Jargus was sprinting head on right behind the body at his opponent, his blade straight behind him in a ?Final Strike? position.

The real question? was whether or not Andur would be willing to cleave the body of a fallen Jedi to save himself. For if he deflected with the Force, his defenses would be left wide for the fraction of a second that Jargus would need to cleave him in two.

    What would he do?

The body flew across the space that divided the two masters, reacting with instinct Andur forward rolled under the limp, flying body of the dead Jedi just as the Sith was about to close with him. As he cleared the body he came up out of the tumble onto one knee and he struck out with all his strength augmented by the force his blade stabbing forward with inhuman speed towards the Sith bared torso.

The Jedi rolled under the flying body. This was unexpected but not fatal. It would however be costly.

    Andur was fast. Too fast.

Jargus used his momentum to twist into a leap that brought the length of Andur?s blade sliding across his chest, enough to burn the skin deeply but not to kill him.

On his way past, Jargus struck out with his own lightsaber, almost reaching the limit of the length and tried raking it across the Jedi?s back. His hand struck out to the floor and he corrected his fall into a hand spring back to his feet. His eyes quickly glanced at the long angry burn across his chest It had burned straight through his clothing and was throbbing angrily as a shallow but cauterized wound. Jargus held out his lightsaber in front of him, levitating it with the Force as he pulled both ends of his tattered clothes apart. His robes ripped off of his body as if they were made of flimsi.

He then reached out and took hold of his weapon again. The Sith Master stood there like a true warrior, bare-chested with his muscles bulging all over his body, standing in the freezing corridor.

?Andur Del-Jinn? I am Sith Master Jargus Morail, you are a most worthy opponent. But I do not have all day to spar with you?.It is time we ended this..?

The Sith swung his blade wide in a slow arch and came to rest it at the Final Strike angle behind him. He was going for one last honorable slash from both parties. Just like they did back in the old days when swords were the predominant weapons and were still made of steel. He was counting on his muscles to pull through for him now. He new Andur was quick, but if he could lock the slashes between them he would win. For he would only have to push through the lock and be done with this task.

He waited for Andur to accept or continue fighting brutally. Either way, Jargus charged with all the speed he and the Force combined could muster. A feral roar escaping his lungs as he charged either to certain victory or a painful death.

Andur rebalanced as the sith master charged headlong at him, Andur's blade sweeping low and behind himself as he readied for the coming clash. He breathed slowly, he could feel the individual snowflakes under his feet, the rasping breath coming from his foes mouth, the kiss of the chill breeze agaainst his skin, he could feel the several wounds he had taken from his enemy that had gone unnoticed till know, he could feel it all, was one with it all. As the sith reached his his crimson blade swept up to strike with raging force, Andur spun into the strike, bringing his own blade around as up, deflecting the strike out to the side, he continued with the momentum of his spin, moving sinuosly around the siths left shoulder, as he turned his blade swept up and then across the neck of the sith lord. His head parted from his body, as the the masters body continues for two more steps then dropped to its knees then into the snow with a thump. Breathing hard, Andur could feel everyone of his wounds, his walked across to the body and slowly saluted the fallen sith, whatever he was he had been a worthy opponent "may you find the peace in death you did not have in life" he whispered to the whistling wind.

Lies...all lies..., Lord Nihl cut down a charging Jedi, his screams only adding to the Dark Lords frustration. The burning forests made his shadow dance like some possessed specter. Lord Nihl's forces had fallen upon the planet with no mercy and no respite.

There were a defending force of force users who were quickly overwhelmed, the republic was no where in sight...those poor fools had no protection against the might of the Sith empire. Explosions could be heard in the distance as his battleships continued to bombard the surface, in the flickering lights Raxus could see his sweeper teams scouring the surrounding temples.

A voice in the chaos broke Lord Nihl's silent rage...

"You are a monster...you are a fiend, you will be destroyed before this is all through."

The armoured Sith turned, his blades sweeping casually to face this aggression, before him an armoured Jedi stood, his blade held ready. The force surrounded the warrior, he was powerful indeed. Lord Nihl moved cautiously towards him, his breathing steady. "Where is the man who betrayed your cause?"

"There is none here that do not serve the light, dark one!"

    "Pity...."

Their blades locked and whirled, the two warriors battled through the ruins, the Jedi Master screamed cries of anguish as he hammered down upon the Apprentice. Raxus Nihl had fallen deep in to Ataru, his blades moving with lightning speed to keep up with the fury of the Jedi. The green blade struck Nihl time and time again, his armour sparking and spluttering, glancing hits tearing gashes in his master worked suit. But for every strike Lord Nihl was also delivering his own blows, as the two parted suddenly their armour was hanging off them, smoking holes and ragged breathing were all that was left of these two majestic beings.

"You are magnificent Sith...but you are going to die here..."

Raxus tore off his helmet, clanging across the ruined floor into the darkness beyond. His eyes blazing like never before. "Jedi you have fought like only we can, but I am not your prize, if you think you can free me do it, for only death can end my reign of terror."

The dark side began to pulse inside the apprentice, his eyes becoming flaming suns in the flickering black. With a guttural scream Lord Nihl sent a blast wave that shook his armour from him, his bare chest white against a black canvas. As he floated back towards the ground the Jedi unhooked his own armour, clanging to the ground in a ruined heap. His piercing eyes never once leaving the Dark Sider.

The two clashed in the destroyed temple, Lord Nihl using sweeping blows with his twin sabers, his hatred boiling to the surface, but there the master was, time and time again. With a sudden force push Nihl was sent sprawling across the floor, one of his sabers skidding to a halt before the Jedi. Before the Jedi could react Nihl was up once more, his open hand outstretched, his free saber already flying like a spear towards the Master, he rolled quickly and used the force to retrieve his fallen blade coming up in strike distance of the Jedi. Before the flying saber connected the Jedi deflected it with his blade, bringing his defense in close again to receive the Apprentice.

Blow after blow after blow, Lord Nihl began taking the Jedi apart, his blade singing and glancing off the Jedi's exposed skin. With a Teras Kesai roundhouse he sent the Jedi to his hands and knees, Raxus' saber held high to deliver the fatal blow....

Agonising pain....Lord Nihl's eyes went wide, the Jedi's saber was embedded in his lower torso, his free hand outstretched as he lay fallen on his knees. Raxus Nihl felt his strength waning, he suddenly felt his masters presence, his eyes regaining focus. With a roar of defiance Lord Nihl grabbed the Jedi with the force and flung him into the ground, over and over again. Blood seeped into the earth, the crater where the ruined man now lay.

It was over...Lord Nihl fell to his knees, the Jedi's saber had long since deactivated and lay nearby. He needed medical attention immediately, he had just taken the life o
