this is going to be great we get to see more of the female characters and this is going to be on the disney channle seems like Disney knew they were turning to the dark side by making all this boring and same live-action shows. so they went to cartoons again so they could go back to the light side

 

Oh right.

 

Firstly:

OK as a "male" fan, I am totally looking forward to this. Any more animated lore to add to the canon is alright by me. I count 2D Clone Wars as canon as well. I do wish Disney wasn't afraid to market Padme because she sure is getting the short end of the stick so far. Darn prequel haters have to ruin everything.

With all that said, trying to stay positive here, ANYTHING Dave Filoni is going to be great in my book. I have such a deep respect for that man and cannot wait to see the lore these shorts add to this epic saga. I'm excited to see if Maz will be narrating all of them and when the Maz segments take place. I'd imagine between Ep. 7 and 8. I am a Star Wars die-hard and Lucas respecter so I LOVE the prequels as much as the originals - and everything in-between and beyond.

That was in no way appropriate for our forums and I really believe you need to refresh yourself on the rules of the forum. Having female characters and characters who have different color skin are part of the diversity that is Star Wars. Getting upset about it isn't going to get you anywhere and posting rants like that because Star Wars is diverse and will always be diverse is only going to send you on a vacation from the boards. Knock it off because that behavior will never be tolerated on here.

A pure medieval show would be easier to do, sure.

But GoT, a medieval show with flying fire breathing dragons, hordes of walking dead humans and horses et al, shadow babies, shape shifting... quite a bit of VFX going on there.

Which character shorts are you looking forward to the most?

Lets see Ashoka, Jyn, Hera and Rey. But the most is Ashoka

 

Nice, I'm looking forward to seeing Ahsoka, Hera, Sabine and Leia myself. And Rey too. It'll be interesting to see where their stories go.

 

Yeah it will better nice to see different adventures they go on

 

Again, easier to do. It's just manipulating a pre existing element slightly, like the dead zombies and horses. Creating full animatronics for aliens, starfighters, cruisers, blaster fire, exotic environments... Would cost much more to pull off to have it look good. Which is why I think SW should stay animated on TV.

Is Padme getting her own short too? If so I'm quite excited to get more Padme content.

 

I'm looking forward to some Padme love as well. She can be such a strong character when they choose to use her as such.

 

I like how everyone always overlooks that from AoTC onwards Padme was knowingly harboring a mass murderer.

 

I truly hope so..
