All AT-ATs and MT-ATs were ordered to direct all firepower at the nearest conquerer droid(I think it was conquerer, can't remember) and fire at maximum power. The Mt-Ats ran out of the way of the treads, while firing at the massive behemoths. Dozens of extremely-high-powered cannonades were fired in a last-ditch attempt to stall the vehicles before they overcame the academy.

The stormtroopers began to roll thermal detonators and grenades down the hillsides at the droidekas, using any available means to stop the machines. Some of the clusters of stormtroopers were not fortunate enough to be holed up in a hardened bunker or to have recieved the heavy weaponry, and were summarily slaughtered in a cauterized bloodbath.

The sheilds around the academy began to buckle under the immense pressure. The administrators still inside began a frantic evacuation. Ambassador Furgan fled to his underground hangar, and entered his personal dreadnought, preparing for the signal to leave.

In space, the never ending stream of droid starfighters taxed the TIE pilots to their limits. The fighters abandoned offensive combat, and tried to protect the capitol ships with all of their power. The lancers also staid close to the larger vessels, attempting to slow the inevitable demise. The fleet moved in a group, constantly away from the TF battleships and into positions where they would be out of the line of sight of the mothership.

The admiral in charge yelled obsessively into his hyperradio transmitter, "We need the torpedo spheres. I repeat, we need the torpedo spheres NOW!"

"They can't hear you," The communications officer said, "The worm-faces have cut off our communications. All we can do now is wait to die."

"NO. I will not accept that. We need to hold on a little longer, at least until the reinforcements from Kuat can arrive."

Another star destroyer had its core ruptured, and it exploded outwards in a brilliant and deadly explosion. The remaining Imperial ships moved into its debris field, to throw off the torpedoes and smaller lasers. The Imperial fleet had been halved. Most of the cadet pilots had been the first casualties. The dreadnoughts and VSDs would often attempt to crash their dying ships into enemy batteships, which would create small openings in the enemy lines for the ISDs to hide in.

When the Seperatists first arrived at Carida, the Kuati fleet, as well as the ever-growing Imperial invasion force, had been alerted. The invasion fleet changed course from travelling to Wayland, to instead be going towards Carida. Once communications with Carida had been broken, then the rest of the Empire assumed the worst, and sent their fleets.

The big TF bs cores on a tread type vehicles are Champions.

All new buildings had been finished on time for the freeze and the New Invasion force was gaining amounts of vehicles and troops including in all 42 TF Battleships,6,000 Droid fighters,200 Techno Union Starships,12 Champions,5,000 Droidekas,and 500 Corporate Alliance Tank Droids.

Count Dooku watched a holographic image that showed frame by frame the ensueing ground battle.The unit of Champions had broken through the shield and had now lowered their huge ramps to unload all the forces within.Every componet of the Invasion ground army poured out and stormed the Academy.Firing laser's and missiles and the enemy fortifications.All 30,000 plus Battle Droids rushed in to put down resistence.

Count Dooku laid back in his elaborate chair gracefully."These Imperials are fanatics when it comes to this planet..its sacred to them,their training ground.I must commend their resolve and determination.They might even get the twisted idea to blow up the Academy with them in it to milk damage on our Troops.Perhaps with that attack fleet coming from Kuat as intelligence as reported it has giving them confidence to fight to the end instead of surrender."

All his Leautenats(sp?) stared blankly at him.

"Continue with the same actions we are taking now for the space battle."

Outside doomed Emperial ships collided intentionally with Separatist Battleships and let off last-second frantic vollys at pesky Droid fighters to inflict maximum damage.The entire wall of Confedercy ships continued to brutelly pound the enemy ignoring the scattered debris.

 

Talos stood infront of his commanders, "Today we launch an all out war on the Separatist!"

"We will send our Main Fleet and Invasion Fleet to Aquaris, we will destroy them there!"

IT BEGIN'S

 

The turrets, cannons, and missile launchers on the towers of the academy fired at the attacking droids in a last-ditch effort to save the academy. The janitorial staff, kitchen service, and mechanics took up arms to fight off the oncoming droids. The heavy turbolasers which were installed on the outer walls of the academy continued to fire desperately to stop the rolling droid behemoths.

The stormtroopers and walkers still in the hills who were not tied down by droidekas returned to the academy to do whatever they could to halt the droid army.

Ambassador Furgan gave the signal for his dreadnought to leave. The large ship drifted up from the secure hangar bay far below the surface of the planet, and up into the air. The ship drifter several hundred feet above the ground, firing remorselessly with its big turbolasers at the battleship-core-like droids.

The Imperial fleet in space continued its strategic retriet, constantly being whithered down as they waited for reinforcements.

 

The Emperial weapons emplaced on the Academy left gap's in the ranks of Confedercy troops but the sustained-fire laser cannons on the Champions dug into the weapons positions and left long deep lines and huge craters in the fortress.The Conquer Droids fired rockets that corkscrewed up to the walls and blow portions out of the Academy,the tanks and Droids aided as well.All the Super Battle Droids and regular Battle Droids engaged the enemy inside wiping out all resistence and cutting down the Emperials with hails of laser fire.

[b]Aquaris[/b]-Po Nudo vizier of the Confedercy for the planet was somewhat shocked that the filthy Pirates had sent such a ill-equiped Invasion Force.On the planets surface all 60 dual mounted Deflection Towers opened fire and took out fighters in orbit as well as reeking destruction on the shields of the capital ships,some of the shields faltering on the small Mauraders.All 33 Techno Union Rockets took off from the surface to aide the Fleet of 100 TF Battleships that were forming a defensive formation while their cannons blared from opening fire in unison.The only weak point was the amount of fighters.500 Droid fighters were sent out to counter the small amount of enemy ones as well.All ground forces were put on high alert and were preped for combat.

"IT BEGIN'S"??????????

 

All documents, files, paperwork, maps, charts, instruction booklets, computer terminals, and other items at the academy which may have been of use were destroyed. The few remaining administrators who were not given seats on the dreadnought fled from the building and the approaching army in landspeeders, through tunnels, or across the mountains on foot. The outer walls were breached, and a majority of the defensive structures had been destroyed. The academy had been built to defend against rebel strike teams, air assaults, and orbital bombardments, not immense robot armies literally marching across its front lawn.

Furgan's dreadnought hovered over the academy, beneath the overhead sheild generator, firing at the largest droids with fifteen heavy laser cannons, twenty quad cannons, and fifteen turbolasers.

The Super Star Destroyer [i]Lusankya[/i], thirty ISD IIs, three Interdictors, twenty lancers, ten dreadnoughts, 2000 TIEs, 1000 Interceptors, and 1750 TIE Defenders dropped out of hyperspace at the edge of Caridan space. The handful of remaining Imperial ships saw their reinforcements, and fought with renewed vigor.

The Kuati fleet swept down upon the battleships, firing volleys of torpedoes and missiles, followed by streams of heavy turbolasers and cannon fire. The fleet moved into a position where the maximum number of seperatist ships would be between them and the mothership. The new fleet group directed half of their available firepower at a single battleship, and fired until the TF vessel was no more. Their attention then turned to the next closest battleship, and the process was repeated.

The gravity wells were placed over the seperatist fleet to prevent any sort of escape or unexpected microjumps. Even though the Imperials were still outnumbered, they were confident in their abilities against the droid invaders.

On the ground on Carida the Emperials were fleeing,the shield was put down momentarilly from inside the sieged Academy so it could be adjusted to encompass the [u]entire[/u] large Confederate army.All the Champions opened fire with blazing cannons on the Dreadnaught its shield visably buckling with a flash of energy.Although the damage caused by the angry Furgan inside had already been dealt blowing even more gaps in the army from the weapons around the hull,Conquer Droids fell in a trail of smoke and fire and crashed onto parts of the army and holes were blown into the Champions frames.
"If it does'ent retreat,destroy it." said OOM-12 from his ATT.
Now all the forces we're unloaded from the Champions and had a constricted grasp on all parts of the building.

In space victory was not yet assured.With the arrivel of of the Kuati fleet Dooku had did not have the demanding superiorty he had before.The mega Ion engines of the [i]Mothership[/i] glowed blue and jetted out fire thrusting forward to come around the main blanket of TF Battleships and open up on the Super Star Destroyer and attemtped to pinpoint the Interdictors.
"Have the Battleships forget the formation and have each ship fight for itself,there beating us by taking out one ship after another down the line,it might weaken our vollys but it will make the task of choosing one ship for the whole fleet to converge fire on difficult" said Dooku.
All the fighters engaged as well-what was left.However they found aide from a steady stream coming from the [i]Mothership[/i]

 

When the sheild generator was taken off-line, Furgan's dreadnought was able to escape into space. As it made its slow climb up, it directed all of its firepower at a single conquerer droid (I think thats the one I mean) The concentrated firepower would no doubt tear through the exposed outer shell of the wheeled battleship core and puncture the immense power generators.

Once the dreadnought passed an effective targeting distance, it continued to send cannonades down upon the droid armies.

The stormtroopers and walkers still in the hills surrounded the academy and stayed low. They prepared to harass and destroy any droids which left the academy grounds, acting as guerrella cells in the mountains.

The SSD turned to face the much larger Mothership. The warship fired an immense volley from all of its turbolasers, lasers, and torpedo tubes simultaneously to do as much damage to the sheilds as possible. Several of the lancer frigates moved into a position where they would be able to pick off the droid fighters as soon as they left the mothership's sheilds.

With the dispersal of the battleships, the star destroyers were forced to constantly adjust position to bring the maximum number of guns to bear against each battleship. The dreadnoughts and surviving VSDs left the main formation of SDs to hunt down the TU rockets. The fleet still fought defensively, awaiting the arrival of the offensive fleet, which was behind the Kuati fleet.

 

[face_shocked] Oh you have another one coming?!--I'm not staying here then.

The forcefield on the Mothership barely even shimmered from getting pelted by the enemy guns.Every last surviving fighter entered the bays of the Battleships.The Mothership closed its doors and the Battleships all rounded up to enter Hyperspace with the 5 Interdictors blown to space dust by the Mothership.8 Battleships landed and fired on the Dreadnaught which was hitting the shield around the academy in vain.The shield went down and OOM-12 got the orders to retreat while the Champions attached to the outer hulls of the ships and the army rushed inside.Within 13 minutes Carida was abanded.Nothing left but the Emperial Fleet and strewn wreckage.

Woah! Hold it, HOLD IT!!!

Your mothership was nowhere near the interdictors, and even then, it didn't have a line-of-sight. As a matter of fact, none of your ships were in a position to fire upon any of the interdictors, both the originals and the reinforcements. I'll give you Furgan's dreadnought, even though that had left the field of battle a while ago. And I don't care about Carida anymore, I just want a decent shot at your mothership. Oh, and I think that it has been more than long enough for the fleet to arrive. Don't worry, it isn't much.

The SSD withdrew after seeing its volley be easily deflected by the Mothership, and returned to the fleet to help with the droid fighters.

The attack fleet finally arrived. 27 Heavy Monitors flew into the heart of battle, riding on scramjets until tey were in position. They were vulnerable to he fighters, but used their four mammoth cannons to tear through the battleships.

Two Torpedo Spheres emerged from hyperspace on the edge of battle. The spherical, death star-shaped vehicles drifted into position. The immense vehicles dwarfed everything else on the field of battle. They were originally designed to destroy planetary sheilds with immense volleys of missiles, but could easily be adapted for other duties. The two vessels opened fire upon the mothership with thousands upon thousands of torpedoes and missiles, detecting the weakpoints in the sheilds and targeting those areas.

The conventional fleet withdrew from battle and grouped around the torpedo spheres. Three thousand Phantom TIEs left the hangars of the monitors and began to fight off the steady stream of droid fighters.

I think that the amount of missiles fired from a torpedo sphere would do a little more than make the sheilds shimmer. [face_silly]

The Separatist Fleet got battered and beating fighter after fighter blow up the Forcefield around the Mothership dissipated,14 more Battleships exploded under the waves of fire from the Moniters that reduced them to scrap farely easily because their barrels were 20 meters wide. [face_shocked] I know when i'm outmatched.

Count Dooku entered the heart of the Mothership getting as far away from the onslaught of thousands of Torpedos as possible,which were tearing apart the outer hull of the 12 mile wide and 3 mile tall Titan ship.

Count Dookus cool and calm graceful personality cracked."Make a breach some way in the gravity hold!!!"

With that a commander on one enflamed Battleships drove his ship that had repelled the effects of the gravity well because of extreme heat strate into a Interdictor.Breaking the lock and giving the fleet a passage away from certain doom.

The Fleet fired even as it moved through the hole but sustained more damage than what it dished out.It then entered Hyperspace in a universal random jump...........

 

The Imperial fleet began to gather up stormtroopers and vehicles which were still on the planet. Because there wasn't a considerable army anywhere near Carida, the droid armies in the academy were left as they were. Ten Star Destroyers were left behind to guard the planet, while the rest of the fleet jumped to hyperspace for Kuat.

In light of the recent military failiure at Carida, Thrawn ordered that all factories begin producing Phase III Darktroopers, to act as a match against the Confederate Droid armies and vehicles, as well as the Vong warriors.

IMP LOSSES:

Considerable, I don't have the exact numbers but I will post my new planetary stats once I have added up my ship and facility growth for the past week and a half. Somewhere in the range of 45000 stormtroopers, 200 AT-ATs, 350 AT-STs, 50 ISDs, 20 VSDs, 20 Lancers, 40 Dreadnoughts, and probably 10000 TIEs of every make.

 

Outside Aquaris

The Pirate fleets came out of hyperspace.

Commander, "All ships, power-up shields and weapons, all torpedo and missiles must be armed."

The massive fleet moved in range of the defenses of Aquaris.

"Launch the Missile Barrage, Now!"

coming from the SSD's, VSD I's, and Gunboats, A massive amount of missiles came out, 13198 Concussion Missiles swarmed to thier targets (TF-Battleships).

The pirate fighters moved to defensive posistions around thier capital ships until another volley was ready.

OOC: I believe all your ships are dead, becuase you never upgraded your TF-Battleship shields, which are very weak to missile, torpedo, turbolaser fire. It would take about 40 Missiles to destroy 1 of your Battleships, and if you did upgrade the shields, that many missiles would still overwlem your ships. The Mon Cal Cruiser shields cant even hold an 80 missile barrage. Also dont even try running, because the missiles will hit you before you jump.

Aquarious[sp?]

The missiles came in hot, some were destroyed by persice laser fire, the rest impacted 23 deflection towers. The remaining deflection towers fired on some corellian corvettes, destroying 6 of the corellian corvettes in an instant. The Corellian gunships moved up and mowed down the inferior driod starfighters. The new Freedom class Gunboats charged ahead into a massive formation of battleships, 31 were lost in an amazing barrage of heavy laser fire, all remaining gunboats fired their gatling blasters at close range, the sheer number of blaster fire coming out of them overwelmed 15 of the battleships shields. The 3 SSD's in the pirate forces, closed in on the remaining battleships, firing an combined 750 heavy turbolasers, 750 reg. turbolasers, 750 Ion cannons, and another barrage of 750 missiles, which was driven straight down thier throats. The VSD's were taking some heavy damage, but only 2 were lost, they moved over the planet, preparing an bombardment on the deflection towers and any ground forces. The marauder corvettes stayed back as reserves and also to protect the massive amount of troops. The old fighters that were protecting the SSD's were being killed at a fast rate, so they were recalled back to the reserve area.

All of the Techno Union Rockets nose dived into the Super Star Destroyers and a few into VSD's in suicide runs.All the remaining Deflection Towers continued to fire aiming for fighters and smaller ships.All the Battleships continued fighting one that was caught on fire smashed into a SSD.All the Droid fighters fought on.None of the ground forces were touched because they were still preparing in bunkered facilties that the enemy could'ent find in a couple minutes and just destroy.

 

The Yevetha are open for who ever wants them!


Although, whoever takes them is in a battle with the vong.
