    Dear Alone in Anchorhead,

I really feel that you have to go see Sleepless In Seattle. Meg Ryan did not treat Tom Hanks like this.

All I gotta say is somebdy call the waaaabulance for Garrett! Dude, you're character is only a week old, just switch servers! I'm sure you could get to where you are now in a few days. At least you didnt play for like 2 months THEN lose your character!

All I gotta say for you Matt is spell waaaaambulance correctly.

I know I could just switch, but I'm partial to Starsider for some reason.

    LOL...you guys are funny

And I am now even more convinced that playing with you guys is a death wish.

    :~D

After you two left the other night,I did a bunch of missions, used the credits to buy a lot of stuff, made an instrument and learned to play it, made a bunch of stimpacks, did a random Tatooine crime lord faction mission (didn't realize what it was until later), got rescued from womprats that started chasing me around one of the other towns (by a guy who got incapped helping me), learned two new lanaguages, and found out there's 5 different floor/levels in that Lucky Despot cantina.

    Whew!

:~D All that AFTER you two got yourselves killed, stranding me and that Evina gal out in the desert, and then left. :~D

Why did I post all that? I don't know...maybe as my own confidence booster. I still prefer following people around and letting them make decisions.

BTW, can "novice" level people teach me stuff, since I'm not skilled in much of anything yet? How does that skill teaching work? And since I'm trained in the really basic scout skills, and I bought a camp kit, can I make a camp now?

You have to have enough XP to qualify for the skills you want someone to teach you. As long as you have enough XP, anyone who already has that skill should be able to teach it to you.

As for camps, as long as you have a camping kit, all you need to do is use it in the location you want to camp at, or drag it to the hotkeys and just press the corresponding key, and you should make a camp. Everytime you want to make a camp however, you need a new camp kit.

Well, I just logged in yesterday to see if you guys were on, and it just wasn't there...it made me very sad.

I spent a few hours working on him, and a good 10 minutes creating him.

    R.I.P. Wookie dude. :(

Make a short, fat Rodian. That's what I did on Bria.

I don't like Rodians. At all.

The only other one I'm remotely interested besides Wookies is Twi'Lek.

    My you're an eager one.

I need to do my guy on Starsider some more...I really like him.

And come on, he has a sand turban! How cool is that?

If it was hair, I would look like a judge from the 1700s. Or one in England now.

No, it was my turban thank you very much. And I have Holocron pieces, and Dark Jedi Medallions.

By the time we're all together again, I'll be a full medic!

Damn all of you! Now you're making me envious. 1. Installing anything new on this computer would involve basically backing everything up, reformatting, partitioning, and installing a better OS. 2. There's no way I have time for playing Galaxies. 3. I need better computer furniture, this board-on-top-of-filing-cabinets arrangement does horrible things to my wrists and shoulders. 4. Have I mentioned the lack of time?

    Yeah, you're missin' out. :/

Although not on much, what with everyone else's play habits. [face_plain]

We need to all be together!

LOL...what if we all started one small character on another server, and ALL had our Force sensitive slots there?

    Quick advice:
I'm doing medic stuff on Tatooine.....and made a few nice acquaintences....and well, everyone seems to be hunting Tuskens lately.

Well, apparently some of the people have started being jerks out there...either leading people into death traps and trying to take their stuff (or just laughing at them), or taking along large parties on hunts, only to take/scavenge all the best rifles/credits/stuff, without doing a groupsplit.

    Obviously, this is not good.

However, being the lowly, scaredy cat, weak medic I am, I haven't gone on any of those trips, so it hasn't happened to me. HOWEVER, some of my acquaintences have, and are now asking me to not heal the guilty parties when they come into the med center.

    What do I do?
They've done nothing to me personally....and all I have to go on are other people's words. A medical prof is supposed to heal everyone, aren't they? (Compassion, etc) but is there a line?

    Ah, the ethics of SWG....
