Memph, TN Star Wars Gaming Night & Holiday PARTY at Triple Play

This is the Official announcement and planning thread for Wednesday night. Sorry it is late.

For anyone who doesn't know, we are having the second Gaming Night at Triple Play this Wednesday night, December 15th from 5-9 and also calling it the SMT Christmas (or whatever you happen to be celebrating this time of year) PARTY! Check out the main site for the full flyer.

Gina volunteered to bring CHILI. So I hope we can count on that.

I am busy writing papers, so I can't commit to more than bringing more than Green Pepper Jelly and crackers again.

I will see if Kevin will be providing anything.

What do we need?

Plates, cups and utensils

Virgin drinks

Anything else?

I will also be bringing lots of minis--enough for anyone who wants to to play, and we will still have video gaming and I hope people can bring SW trivia, Monopoly and Battleship again!

We have a few bowls and spoons, but feel free to bring more for the chili.

Chuck PM'd me this morning asking if he should bring anything. I mentioned that any condiments people would like for their chili would be welcome (cheese, sour cream, crackers, hot sauce, etc.). Since he was looking for this thread, I assume he will shime in here if he plans on bringing anything.

Robert and I will be bringing:
Deviled eggs
Pancho's dip and chips
Dilled Krab dip with crackers & veggies
Napkins

 

Ok I'll bring some pop, oh I'm sorry it's "cokes" to "ya'll" down here I'll also bring some shredded cheese, tortillas and jalepenos for the chili. and I'll bring some sort of dessert thing. Not sure yet what it will be. I'll also see what I can do about paper plates, bowls and plastic utensils.

Iv been having some serious computer troubles. But regardless I will be there tonite. My dad will tag along too. We will bring some cokes and Il scavenge my house for food.
Ill bring my minis too! Hopefully my computer will start working soon.

Yeah, that stuff was really neat! Made of peppers? Dude...sounds almost like something off of neopets. "Cornupepper Jelly," or something.

Anyway, it was great seein' all you guys again! Fun getting my @$$ whooped at Halo...AGAIN!!! Tis a shame we can't all hang out more. And the Goblin is still in my pocket...as well a Nick's gum.

Thanks to everyone who came last night. It was a success. Kevin was pleased and we talked about some dates in January.

Hopefully next time some SMTers will actually play minis with me, now that I know better how to play. In the mean time I am going to go down and challenge Henry to a game.

 

Yeah, we had a great time too. I would have had more time to play if only the darn chili would have mwarmed up faster. Oh well, live and learn. Plenty of good conversation though! And pictures!!

So far, I think the only night we can't do it in Januray is the 14th. As The Spirit Moves You Ballet Memphis @ The Orpheum.
