San A, TX Star Wars III to be released on DVD Nov 1

The final installment in the the Star Wars saga will be released on DVD Nov. 1, the Associated Press reported. The two-disc release of Star Wars: Episode III- Revenge of the Sith will include a making -of documentary, featurettes on the the movie's stunts and on the character of Anakin Skywalker, and a 15-part documentary series originally produced for the Web.

Lucasfilm also announced that it will release the franchise's new video game, Star Wars: Battlefront II, on the same day.

I'm counting the days already. I most likely will preorder it, or I may just buy it on the day it comes out. I haven't decided yet. I'll be buying it in WS. I have a big flat screen with surround sound, so most of my movies are WS.

 

In my opinion, ALL movies look better in wide screen, but Star Wars looks the BEST. I can't wait to see Yoda and Sidious duke it out in the comfort of my own home....GOOSEBUMPS

 

I'm gonna look in to seeing if Toys R Us wants us to do something with them on this.

Sounds like a great idea, I wonder if they will want us there @ 12:01 am or would they want us there on the weekend, like maybe Sunday. I guess we can figure that out later but, what the general consensus from Toys R Us is?

Well being that November 1st is a Tuesday...that would make Monday October 31st HALLOWEEN.....Talk about a possible double whammy.....
