Lit Star Wars Insider short fiction -- Use other thread for JtTFA shorts!

I think that new fiction every issue was just for last year only. Hopefully there will be something new soon.

 

I could have sworn the official solicitortation for issue #164 mentioned new fiction. same with #165.

what novel exert is actually in 164? any new artwork to compensate at least?

 

Battlefront: Twilight Company. Looks like there is new artwork. At least, I haven't seen it before.

 

I really wonder what the short story will be in 164

 

Solicitation says: "Plus, Alan Dean Foster discusses his novelization of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and an all-new exclusive fiction!"

If the comma wasn't there and it didn't say "exclusive", it would sound like Alan Dean Foster was discussing someone else's book or something but the wording implies a new exclusive short story. Unless the excerpt itself of Twilight Company is exclusive. In that case, really bad and misleading wording on their part. It would make sense though since there's not been a single mention of a title/author/subject for a short story in #164.
