    THE DAILY DOUBLE!!!

It looks like we have a TRUE DAILY DOUBLE!!!!!

NOTE: Only Darth_Dreadwar may respond to this challenge. GOOD LUCK!

    --------

Here's your challenge in the category ADDITIONS AND DELETIONS:

    Through the Mists of Time

Order the TEN events in reverse chronology (according to WHEN they would occur in the saga if not CUT).
[So, start the timeline at the end of RotJ, travel backwards, and end the timeline at the start of TPM.] :)

    THE 10 CUT SCENARIOS:
    - Obi-Wan analyzes the saberdart at the Jedi Temple.
    - Dooku says "Just because there are two of you, do not assume you have the advantage."
    - Luke and Ben spend the night at Bestine.
    - Anakin fights with Greedo.
    - Obi-Wan discusses the Lost Twenty with Jocasta Nu.
    - Chief Bast reports to Vader about the search for the droids reaching Mos Eisley spaceport.
    - Yoda declares himself Qui-Gon’s new apprentice.
    - Luke completes construction of his green-bladed lightsaber.
    - Jar Jar juggles Watto’s merchandise.
    - Wampas attack Echo Base.

    Hey there trivia enthusiasts. :)

The Daily Double was never answered, and the judges have decreed that we start fresh with a new game. :D However, the rules have been tweaked. Hopefully, these revisions help to move the game along and increase participation.

Basically, the majority of ‘challenges’ will be simple trivia questions. Brain teasers will only pop up occasionally. Everyone is welcome to play! [face_peace]

Keep in mind, ‘Star Wars Jeopardy’ is just the name we’re going with. For those of us unfamiliar with Jeopardy rules, it matters not. :yoda: The rules differ from the game show, so just consider this your basic trivia contest. Here’s how the competition will work:

    GAME #3 (A New Hope)
-The game will consist of three rounds. Point values for ‘challenges’ increase with each round.

    ROUND ONE
-There is NO limit to the number of contestants.
-To join the game, just ‘buzz in’ by answering the current question or selecting a category, depending on the situation.
-ANYONE can respond when a question is on the board. Also, ANYONE may select the next category once the judges have revealed the answer. This is a MAJOR change… unlike the previous games, no one ‘controls’ the board.
-Also, wrong answers will NO longer result in a loss of points, so guess away! Points can only be lost during special ‘challenges’ that allow wagering or specify a penalty.
-A correct answer awards the point value of the ‘challenge’.
-The scoreboard and category selection board are updated when necessary.
-The DIFFICULTY of questions is now RANDOM. Picking a low point value could render a very hard one, while higher point values may reveal an easy one. Generally speaking, the overall difficulty won’t vary as much as in the previous games.
-You DON’T have to phrase responses in the form of a question.
-There is NO longer a Daily Double hidden on the board.
-The point values have been restored to 1-5. This allows for more variety among score totals.
-All SW media is fair game, including ‘Legends’.
-Let’s go with the HONOR system. Answer with your SW knowledge rather than looking up info.
-Please be aware… this is a work in progress. Questions, suggestions and requests dealing with the game are absolutely welcomed.
-Remember not to take this too seriously. Let’s have fun and keep it light.

Okay! Let’s give this madness a try. :)

Welcome to the game Nehru_Amidala. :) Nehru selects SCORING WITH THE SCORE for 1 point.

    The FIRST U.S. release of
Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)
    featured 17 tracks on a double-album.
    Hence, there were four sides.
    ---------------
Question- Which SIDE contained 5 tracks?
BONUS Question for an extra point- Which SIDE featured the track entitled 'Yoda and the Force'?

ANYONE can answer. Remember, there's NO penalty for wrong answers, so guess away.
    GOOD LUCK! [face_good_luck]

Please specify which question you're answering. :D

Hi Nehru! :D The FIRST U.S. release was a two-vinyl set.

    So... let's simplify this:
Question A- Which SIDE contained 5 tracks?
Question B- Which SIDE featured the track entitled 'Yoda and the Force'?

You just need to specify SIDE ONE, TWO, THREE, or FOUR.

Reminder- There's no more 'controlling of the board', so anyone may jump in here at any time. [face_peace]

'1 hour and 47 minutes' is INCORRECT.
We're looking for the length of the original 1977 score. (Only 75 minutes of the score were used on the soundtrack.)
