Single Jeopardy has concluded. Great job everyone!

The next post will consist of some basic information about Double Jeopardy. Also, the judges will rearrange the scoreboard to display each contestant's position.

As stated before, this is a work in progress. Any suggestions and/or questions are welcomed. Although the next round is already written up, the judges will still consider any category requests.

Thanks to all the contestants. You deserve a round of applause. =D=

Oh, and you can let go of your signaling devices for the moment. :p Don't worry... we don't have an interview segment. ;)

Hello again. :) It’s almost time for the Star Wars Double Jeopardy round.

    The madness continues. :D

Here are some basics on how the round will work:

-There will be no limit on the amount of new contestants. Please feel free to join.
-Anyone can answer when a question, task, or challenge is presented.
-Answering counts as ‘buzzing in’ and you will gain or lose points accordingly.
-A correct answer awards control of the board.
-The scoreboard and category selection board will be updated as necessary.
-The higher the point value, the more difficult a question will be. Point values are now doubled.
-You DON’T have to phrase responses in the form of a question. Just answer.
    -Questions and suggestions are welcomed.
-Obviously looking up information is allowed.
-There are 2 Daily Doubles in this second round of competition.

    ~STATISTICS FOR ROUND 1 (Single Jeopardy)~

    Let Double Jeopardy commence! :)

cdgodin selects BOOKS AND COMICS for 10 points:

Which 'Star Wars Tales' issue depicts the following scenario...
A Jedi padawan is taken hostage by a warlock. The padawan is then sealed in a pit.
(Remember, the judges are looking for the ISSUE number. NOT the volume number from the trade paperback collections.)
    Also-
Name the Jedi padawan. Provide the title of the story. Name the padawan's master.

May the force be with us all. :D

Aha! I found it! It is Yaddle's Tale: The One Below, published in Tales #5. Yaddle is the padawan, obviously. Her master is Polvin Kut. :D

    Books and Comics for $8

The Luke Skywalker vs Brakiss Paradox:
Question 1- Which Star Wars book mentions that Luke Skywalker does NOT face Brakiss after the student leaves Jedi academy?
    vs
Question 2- Which Star Wars novel states that Luke Skywalker dueled Brakiss in 17 ABY?

All Star Wars books are fair game. That means any era and all types (such as... adult novels, young adult novels, eBooks, short story collections, gamebooks, guides).

    The mission:
Answer both questions by providing the exact titles.
    Also-
According to the novel mentioned in Question 2, where did Luke & Brakiss duel?

May the force be with you all. [face_good_luck]

The other species is The Jawas.
    Ghorfas are the Sand People,
The Rakata' Infinite Empire bombed Tatooine, which was a lush world, til it was fused glass, the glass later crumbled turning into desert sand.

Obi-Wan has taught you well. :D Darth Aiser is correct for 2 points. :)

    SCOREBOARD:
1st Place; 34 points for Darth Aiser
    2nd Place; 28 points for Figrin D'aniel
3rd Place; 18 points for cdgodin
4th Place; 13 points for Seren
5th Place; 12 points for Admiral Volshe

    7th Place; 3 points for benknobi1
8th Place; 2 points for SoWizard
9th Place; 1 point for Roberto Calrissian

And now, GALACTIC HISTORY for 4 points.

By the time of the Clone Wars, contact had been established with TWO of the seven dwarf (satellite) galaxies orbiting the main 'Star Wars' galaxy.
Name the TWO contacted dwarf galaxies (both have 2 names).
    Also-
The 'Star Wars' galaxy does NOT have an official astronomical name.
However, a species from ONE of the two contacted dwarf galaxies DID refer to the main 'Star Wars' galaxy with a name.
Name the species. Which dwarf galaxy did they come from? And what was the name given to the main galaxy? (HINT: It's not the Milky Way. :p)

    Good luck to all players!
