As long as there's not much corporal work involved.

Just find inspiration the way Ernest Hemingway did and write while drinking a large glass of Jinn.

No need to push me off a bridge, I'm more than capable of doing that myself.

Puns.... love 'em and I know I'm going to love this book. I love character based stories (and action is good, but not the be-all, end-all).

    Me too!!!!

It is the only Star Wars book I have ever pre ordered. That says a lot since, being a cheapskate, I usually get my books from the library.

Night Errant the novel resonated with me in a way that few other Star Wars books have, I am so excited to see the author's take on Kenobi.

Got a galley of this. It doesn't disappoint. (Not that I thought it would with JJM at the helm!) The characterization is terrific and Tatooine feels like a real place. I particularly like that it's an unabashedly small-scale story -- it's set in a few locations on one planet, but it's as rich with history and intrigue as anyone could want. Excited to hear more readers' thoughts once it's out.

Awesome to hear praise for this book already, not that its surprising, given who the author is, but still, reassuring. Now if only it wasn't still over two months away.

    Ten was always crying. :p

Really? I mean, you could jump off a bridge... but PUSH yourself off a bridge? You'd need... like... really long arms.

Part of the Kenobi excerpt from Crucible is viewable on Amazon's page for Crucible. It's a pretty cool excerpt, and takes place in 19 BBY.

That's where the Crucible timeline page has it too.

Oh, and 50 words in, Kenobi is already resolving one of the great questions of the EU:

The bartender sighed and shrugged. "This again? I told you when you asked earlier. My eyes are large and red because I'm a Duros."
