    Prologue: Taking Back What's Yours

Taking his credits was a bad idea.

Him getting his credits back should be the least of their worries.

They had bumped into him outside of the bar. He had just gotten a drink and was walking back to his table when two men bumped into him on both sides. At first, he didn't even notice something was gone.

Until he sat down at didn't feel his credits in his pocket slumping down on the seat.

He had jumped up out of his seat and dashed out of the bar like an angry Noghri, pushing people out of the way and running at incredible speeds down the street. He dodged several pedestrians and pushed several out of the way, charging like a furious Wookie towards the culprits.

He then tapped into the Force, something he did reluctantly, and began to run at impossible speeds. He had turned his back on the Jedi after recieving his training, something his ancesters should have done before continuing the line of Force-sensitives.

Of course, the Force does come in handy when needed, which is, surprisingly these days, not very often. These days, there were not many Force users, running around with their lightsabers in everyone's business. It's a good way to be noticed by people you don't want to notice you.

Of course, if he is moving so fast no one can see him, that shouldn't hurt.

He ran, quick as lightning, down the street, his body becoming a blur as he zipped past the people.

    He had caught them.

He stopped using the Force and ran at normal speed. He took out his customized double barrel blaster pistol and shot two shots. One at the two running men to move them over, and one at the sign just above them. The sign fell, stopping the two men, and they skidded to a halt and turned back to him. He stopped in front of then men, his blaster pistol pointing at them.

"All this over a couple of credits?" asked one of the men.

    He smiled.

"You can say that," he turned his blaster pistol up one notch, making it be able to fire two shots at once, one out of each barrel. "But, I like to call it taking back what's mine."

    He fired.

    One shot.

The men dropped lifeless on the ground and he walked over. He went in each of their pockets and grabbed his credits. He shoved them into his pocket and smiled, standing up from bending over to get the last of his credits.

He shoved his blaster pistol on his utility belt and begun to walk away, back to the bar. Back to his drink. Back to his life as a pirate and bounty hunter, and away from all that Jedi nonsense. From all that Force nonsense. He won't be like the rest of his family; chained by the Force, letting it tell you what was right and what was wrong.

Cade Skywalker is a free man.
