" Star Wars midi music "...

Have you ever heard of Star Wars midi music? I found out about this type of music a little while ago and I personally enjoy it even though it sounds way different from the insturments that John Williams uses. I just want to know your thoughts on this kind of music? If you have some midi music feel free to post it. If you haven't heard it here are some samples:

Anyone have something I can use to convert MIDI to Wav or MP3 so I can burn it onto a CD?

 

If I'm not mistaken, the newer versions of Winamp will allow you to playback a file and copy almost any file format to wave format. The plugin is the "DirectOutput" plugin, and comes standard on WinAmp (it plays sound, writes, etc). I may be wrong, though. Maybe it's called "Disk Write" or something like that, or perhaps "write to disk" is an option on DirectOutput. I don't use WinAmp any long, so alas I cannot be of any help. Sorry...

I found some here ,it has couple of AOTC ones including Across the Stars.

 

Midis are one of the few things SW I absolutely loathe. Take the Emperor's Theme midi, for example. It's barely recognizable as the Emperor's Theme. It sounds terrible. Why should I settle for something like that when I can hear the real thing on a MP3?

 

Here are some more MIDI files I dug up. Most of them may not work because the site I got them from only allows 20 MB to be used from their site a day or some crap like that.
