Picked up my set with "Teh Vader" in it tonight!

 

I picked up a starter set and a booster pack tonight. only rare i got was Greedo, other than the luke and vader you get with the starter set. didn't get any doubles though, unlike when I buy boosters for heroclix...

Rhonda, did you buy the booster from Triple Play? You gonna get more? Or have you already? Did you get the new Clone Wars Adventures comic? I did today when I was over there.

only rare i got was Greedo
There is only one R or VR in each booster.
I like Greedo. Do you?
Where did you get yours?

 

I also have another set. Which of them are rare?

 

They have a symbol on the bottom that tells their rarity.
circle for common
diamond for uncommon
star for rare
star in circle for very rare

It also says on their respective cards--or at least has the symbol.
Each booster and starter comes with a checklist of all sixty with their number and the symbols.

 

All the "heavy" pieces are VR and all the "uniques" are R or VR.

Clone Strike comes out December 3, but so far there isn't an official list on that. There are confirmed pieces, but I think there are only about 8 confirmed.

There will be a ROTS set due out in May and there is supposedly a "Huge" set in August.

The "huge" set would come with one huge in each booster and there would be no starter, according to the French site that started the rumor.

That speeder scout is a good pull--people who get more than one don't usually want to part with them because it is an army builder--incidentally, do you want to part with yours? I've got a rebel on speeder bike with your name on it if you are, and I would be willing to sweaten the deal.

 

Target has minis! They are in the Wizards section on the back wall of the toy section.

 

I just bought a dengar rebel storm figure off ebay, I dont know much about it though I dont know much about it. Is there a starter pack whith instructions or something I could buy?

 

Yeah, the starter pack is 20 dollars at Target or possibly at Comics and Collectibles--don't know if they have any right now. It comes with a basic rule book and a map and 11? miniatures including Luke, rebel and Darth Vader, dark jedi. The others are randomly packed.

How much did you pay for Dengar? Are you looking for specific characters you like, or do you plan on collecting them to play or for a full set? I know you like bounty hunters. If you want that IG-88 I got today, I will sell or trade him.

 

Anyone hear the ad for Star Wars Night at Triple Play on Rock 103 this morning? I missed it, but my sister called me and told me about it.

 

I tuned in during the ad. I thought, "Wow! We're famous!" Now we just need Kevin to sponsor TimmyCon! 2 and we can get some airtime. Apparently you can jsut send them new copy, 'cause I've heard a few different Triple Play ads so far.
Of course, those traffic ads might not be that expensive, so we could look into it anyway when the time comes.

Yeah sure I mine as well start wit the bounty hunters, I got dengar for about $6.00 off ebay, shipping and all. But sure how much you askin for IG.

 

Think triple play might have a starter set cause my moms gonna be out of commision for a few days.( dental surgery) and Im goin to the gaming meeting there so that would be conveniant.

 

Finally I can start an army of rodian hookers, I can die happy!

 

I've heard Kev's 3X traffic ads, but haven't heard the gaming night one yet. And, no- as far as I remember the traffic sponsorships aren't cheap- especially on Rock103. They're cheaper than a full on-air ad, but more $ than we've got to play with!

Speaking of more $ than we have to play with- Nick, remember, stay away from hookers- especially green/bumpy ones!

 

If they're green and bumpy, they've gone bad.

At least if they get something, they probably have an idea on how to cure it.

well in three years we can talk about it over a shmoke and a pancake. Sorry for the austin powers reference. but it turns out you can get rodian nurses. with 40% more nauty than th regular ones.
