    Well since I got a couple the other day I thought I'd post up some details.

    First up the AT-RT snap kit.The model builds up to be about 180mm high to the top of the antenna and is roughly in scale with the 3 3/4" figures.As with the rest of the easy kit series there are pre painted details and the kit will snap together without glue if you fancy a quick build.

    [image=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v499/swampmonster/star%20wars/AT-RTreview1.jpg]

    The legs are articulated so you can pose the kit in standing,walking or running poses.It will only sit upright in a limited range of leg positions though.

    [image=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v499/swampmonster/star%20wars/AT-RTreview2.jpg]

    There are a few tricky bits with the assembly.Where the legs attach to the body is a tight fit and the joint isn't easy to move once attached so put them running almost straight back to save a bit of wrestling.The armour plates on the footrests are also quite tight and should probably be installed before putting the footrests into position.

    not a bad little kit though and with a little paint it could be built into a nice model or just built out of the box to run around with your 3 3/4 " clone armies :D

    A great idea for a thread RD !!!! =D=
    Love the models.... any chance that you have a Venerator class Republic cruiser that you're building? I'd LOVE to see how it looks before buying/building one.

    A look at the Revell Republic star destroyer.

    [image=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v499/swampmonster/star%20wars/republicstardestroyer2.jpg]

    This is a big kit of conventional glue and paint construction.While not 100% accurate in all the small details and greeblies it still looks the part and can be super detailed if you're a stickler for accuracy.

    Even though it's not a snap together kit lots of parts are still push-fit so the main engines can be mounted and removed and the upper hull will press on tightly so if you want to add interior lighting and engine effects you can have the hull openable to allow access for repairs,battery replacement and on/off switching.

    [image=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v499/swampmonster/star%20wars/republicstardestroyer3.jpg]

    As you can see it's a fair bit bigger than the old AMT ertl star destroyer kit coming in at 504mm long and as the republic ships were smaller that gives you much better detail.

    just another quick one

    The Revell easy kit,Imperial shuttle.

    [image=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v499/swampmonster/star%20wars/imperialshuttle.jpg][image=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v499/swampmonster/star%20wars/shuttlefront.jpg]

    Not a bad little kit,it captures the look very well and with the wings out is a fairly good size.Being approximately 1/72 scale it will sit nicely alongside the old Amt-ertl millenium falcon kit.

    [image=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v499/swampmonster/star%20wars/shuttlefalconcomparison.jpg]

    The kit features moveable wing guns and optional landing gear parts so you can have it either gear up or down(with the landing gear attached the wings won't fully lower).
