Thank god. I was lost before. Seriously I love the SW editions of classic games. Still need SW Stragtego(SP?) and Life.

 

How many of you have the collector edition with the pewter figurines?

Personally I don't see the appeal of "themed" Monopoly.

SW Monopoly was a waste of my money IMO. I have the pewter characters and all, but I don't see why to bother to get it when I already had the other version.

Well, it said "Star Wars Monoply" and I was all, Wow! Monopoly, but Star Wars style!

I was expecting uber cool lightsaber duels if someone failed to pay rent when landing on a hotel.

Gunfights vs. Stormies, and an escape down a trash compactor to get out of jail,

Orbital bombardments of hotels to destroy them.



I got none of this . However, got some shiny pewter figures though, and shiny stuff is always good...

 

Hmmm. Shiny you say... maybe I should put it on my Christmas list??//?

 

Heck, I'll send you mine. You get everything that came in the box, minus the dice (lost) and shiny pieces (heck, I can't give up shiny stuff! not even pennies!).

 

Luke's lightsaber always seems to get bent. He tries hard to keep it straight, but it he just can't keep it that way. Poor Luke.

 

I have the Episode I version. It's okay. I haven't played it in forever, though. No one to play with.

 

Coolest part of the collector's edition was the 5 brass(I think) 1000 credit coins.

 

I like it. I think it's cool with all the names and the money(Credits). I didn't have the original game so the SW version was a good reason to get it. Didn't bother with the EP1 version. Who has SW Trivia Pursuit? That's a fun game. Sucks without SW fans though.

Good for duelling around corners, though.

Unless they got autopruned there are a couple of boardgames threads floating around the bowels of this forum.

I have this Episode I game that's like Battleship, but in space instead of the water and with starships instead of battleships. But I haven't played it in over a year. Sigh. No one ever wants to play it with me!
