Oregon Star Wars Night at PGE Park

I just had a look at portlandbeavers.com, the official website of the Portland Beavers minor league baseball team here in town, and there will be a Star Wars Night on July 17. I'm not sure what kind of Star Wars-related things there will be at the game (no details were given), but it's also a $1 Concessions day as well. If anyone is interested in seeing a baseball game, we could have an outing that night and enjoy the festivities.

 

That sounds like an awesome idea. I had a cousin who played for the Fresno Grizzlies and tried to catch every game they played when they headed up here. It would be a lot of fun to go to a Star Wars night at PGE Park....

I wonder if they'd let us costumers in there?

It looks like the Beavers will be playing Salt Lake City that night.


If it's Star Wars Night, they'll probably allow people with costumes.

 

So who wants to make an OFF hangout day of this game?

I'm in (unless I absolutely have to work), who's with me?

Wouldn't you know, this would be a great venue/event for OFF t-shirts... if we had one.

Wish I could but Portland's way too far away and I have to get my driver's license first. Yeah, I know...

Less than a month left until this game. So far, it's Bill and I going.

 

I love Star Wars and baseball i am game.

 

I think that the game starts at 7:05. We'll need a place where we can meet up before buying our tickets and heading inside.

This "face" statue sits on the northwest corner of the park property - it faces toward Burnside. It is as good a place as any to meet up!

The game starts at 7:05. I was thinking around 6:35 or 6:40; that would give us time to meet, get tickets and find seats/get concessions. I take it that we're going to get General Admission tickets?
