SWN has grown to be our biggest and most popular event of each year. It has also become a large undertaking that requires help from every North Ridge member through ideas, duelling practices, costume and prop construction, and an understanding of what we are doing at the event. It was discussed at the January meeting that due to needing input and help from all members, participation guidelines prior to the event need to be put in place. The member expectations for participation at SWN are as follows: Must the final planning meeting scheduled for June 15 so that they can arrive at the event prepared and ready to go. All loose ends will be finalized and instructions communicated to members. Must attend an additional 2 monthly meetings to help as the event is planned. (Total 3 meetings including the final planning meeting) Must attend 2 events in 2013 prior to SWN Must log in to the message forums at least once per week and leave a message in any of the fun games or event planning threads. As a group, these expectations were drafted. It is understood that careers, family obligations, and real life issues can get restrict your time. I again express how important it is to communicate.
