How about you keep your PC bullcrap to yourself. If you think I am homophobic you are sadly deluded. Lighten up!

I'm no fan of overtly PC crap myself CCD, I just don't think it's very nice to use Gay as a derogatory term.

I suggest that all such terms are ommited from the text in future. If you wish to make a comment on something keep personal feelings out of it, others will feel differently and thus take offense to what is stated. Let's try and keep the conversations as contructive as possible please.

Just leave the damn films alone, Lucas. You're not a damn perfectionist, just insecure.

    This came from millenniumfalcon.com

Episode IV: A New Hope DVD:
    * LightSabers changed for Vader versus Ben Kenobi Death Star duel.
    * TractorBeam control now in Aurebesh.
    * Han and Greedo scene slightly changed (everyone's seen this).
    * Jabba the Hutt redone from Special Edition Jabba.
    * Boba Fett still mugs camera.
    * Han still steps on tail, "You're a wonderful human being," still there.
(The scene is an improvement over the SE, but still not great.)

Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back
    * Emperor replaced with Ian McDiarmid.
Dialogue in this scene has been slightly modified, indicating either that the Emperor knows it was Luke who nuked the Death Star, or that he is Vader's son. Maybe both. Otherwise, dialogue remains in tact. Emperor's theme from Jedi also added into the scene.

Episode VI: Return of the Jedi:
    * Hayden Christenson has replaced Sebastian Shaw only in the Force Ghost shot.

    * Line about Leia remembering her mother while talking to Luke on the Ewok Village veranda has either been omitted, or modified.

    * Naboo has been added to the final planetary celebration montage at the end of the movie. It is a shot very similar to the helicopter shot of Theed in TPM when AATs are moving up the street towards the palace.

    Original Trilogy Bonus Materials Extras:

    * Episode III teaser trailer.
    * Episode III Vader "making of" featurette.
    * EASTER EGG: Warwick Davis short film of Wickett the Ewok fighting Boba Fett on the Death Star II, shot as a gag during the filming of Return of the Jedi.

    Episode I DVD ReRelease:

    * Puppet Yoda has been replaced completely by CGI.

Thats dissapointing. I watched ANH last night and lukes saber was crap!!!. and that fight between Obi and Vader was terrible!

    ARGH!!

The majority is fairly accurate to what has been floating around already.

But it's the internet... Nothing and nobody is to be trusted!

So will we be getting a similar prequel set once ep3 is finished with even more changes?

He needs to trim some stuff from ep2 and add some of the scenes he left out.

I think that when E3 on DVD comes out there is also the "Archival Prequel Box Set" with all of the movies updated.

And Christopher Lee might be added to TPM for this DVD. My guess will be during Qui Gon's funeral.

EDIT: The scene with Ki-Adi and co. on the droid starship will probably be back in AOTC too.

At least fans won't be able to bitch about not having any more Star Wars. Sure it's going to be the same stuff but every five or so years Lucas will tweak it so all of us gullible twits will go out and buy it again. :(

...and then there's buying it on a new format every ten to fifteen years!!!

    I'm sure we'll be getting blu-ray or HD-DVD versions in 5-10 years.

Yeah, but in a bit less than ten years all TV signals will be broadcast in HDTV so you'll have to buy a new box anyway just to receive them.

Normal DVDs don't look that good on HDTVs, you don't want broadcast movies twice the res of your dvds.

Bail Organa (Leia's "daddy") is going to be added into ANH. Supposedly, we get to see him on a shuttle escaping Alderaan before it destroyed by the death star. His ship is almost engulfed by the explosion. But luckily he escapes to some planet (My guess it would be Naboo).

What the hell would that add to the story? You never see him again and Leia still thinks he's dead.

I heard the dialogue had been modified in the scene where the death star officers are watching the escape pod containing c3po and r2.

Now, instead of "Hold your fire. There are no life forms. It must have been short-circuited."

They say "what the hell, we've got all thise firepower and god knows we need the practice. Fire at will."

the pod is destroyed, and the rest of the movie is replaced with a close-up of george lucas's fist, middle finger extended*, and the words 'I'm your daddy" written across the screen.

    As are the subsequent sequels.

    *CG, of course.

I this is supposed to be a prototype, but it should look like the finished product.

EDIT: GREEDO STILL SHOOTS FIRST!!! ARGHH!!!!

There's a good pic of Ian McDirmid in ESB: DVD im trying to find now.

Also, there's a rumour that a Padme scene has been shot for ANH during filming of AOTC. But how could that be? (highlight for E3 spoiler) she is supposed to die in E3 . And where would GL put it?

    EDIT: Markup Codes....
