Comics Poe Dameron #1-6: Black Squadron, Lockdown (6/6 released) & SaBBotage

When it comes to superheroes, it's fair game, just because it's a tradition that comes from narmier times. Otherwise, it just sounds pretty ridiculous.

 

I'm just disappointed we didn't get "THE MIGHTY CHEWBACCA".

 

What will they do when they run out of heroic adjectives? The OBSTREPEROUS IRON MAN? The FULSOME WOLVERINE? The JOCULAR DEATHPOOL? The GARRULOUS CAPTAIN AMERICA? The DECOROUS MAGNETO? The MENDACIOUS LOKI? The PENDULOUS BLACK WIDOW?

 

They will abuse a thesaurus terribly.

So the villain is an "agent", does that mean he's like Kallus and the first order have their own version of the ISB? The OSB (Order Security Bereau) perhaps?

 

Oh, I can't wait for the trade. I love this Terex guy already. Look at him, swaggering up in that cavern.

 

He's so deliciously hammy. "Obstacles are for little people." I love it, I'm definably getting the trade on this one.

The question for those of you buying the trade will be: TPB or OHC?

 

Trade, it's almost always trade for me.

 

I may attempt to wait for the OHC, but I will probably give in the first time I see the trade in a comic shop.

 

I like this guy already.

 

I got a feeling he's going to be the Agent Kallus of the new generation.

 

Except hopefully he won't suddenly do a U turn and start turning good

 

In the wake of Bloodline, I'm starting to think of this as the potential heir to X-Wing: Mercy Kill.

The TFA era may be total dreck, but this might be its sole gem.

 

TPB everytime. OHC's are OK but they kind of annoy me a bit - they don't fit with all my other TPB's.

When Marvel first began this era of SW comics I did go back to comics, boarded and bagged, for a while but after reading TPB's for so long I found that the adverts get in the way of the story and then there's all the palaver of having to rebag the thing before I can read the next issue. So when my local comic shop missed three orders in a row I decided to go for TPB's again. I much prefer them. The only problem is the waiting! I'm definitely getting this when it comes out in TPB.
