Star Wars Poster Appreciation

    Over the years, we've gotten some beautiful posters for the Star Wars saga. I'll start things off with one of the posters for the original movie, which has become one of the iconic images for the series (I remember that Luke and Leia image on the Special Edition VHS box)

    I remember as a kid wondering why Princess Leia was barefoot on the poster. If I had to guess, it'd be that the Hildebrandts were thinking of the woman from Forbidden Planet.

    I never noticed that! Shame on me. In any case, it's a remarkable poster. Classic. An absolute favorite of mine.

    I imagine with the hot ground on Tatooine, maybe the poster should have had Leia jumping around. Wouldn't have been such an epic pose, though. :)

    I always liked this one too. In case it fails like my last image post, it's the one for ROTS where Anakin is wearing a huge black cape that looks like Vader's mask.
