For one the RM thing, as well as someone actually building a "Thug" droid.:p

I actually posted that before realizing that "RM" is Ralph McQuarrie's initials, but "Thug-type droid" is funny as well.

They're obviously complying with the Empire's new honest-in-advertising laws.

When I saw "Holowan", for a moment I was afraid that "Therefore I Am" was getting recanonized.

I've actually always seen "Therefore I Am" as a rather humorous (if almost certainly unintentional) commentary on the practice of shoehorning EU characters into important roles in the films, particularly with the infamous ending, where IG-88 is confident he's about to bring about the new age of the droid... before getting blown up with no one ever realizing he was there.

If it wasn't intended to be canon, I would have enjoyed "Therefore I Am" for this reason among others, but "Therefore I Am" doesn't work in any way whatsoever as a canonical story.

    Noooooo. No. No.

You'll confuse the poor viewers, then they'll find out it was in a book and by including her you're forcing them to buy a book and read!

    HOW DARE YOU!

...... Of course, they could just give a quick intro for her, invite people to seek out the book and have no controversy whatsoever......

Why would anybody need to read the book? She can just be Imperial officer of the week (or arc).

if Ezra was removed I would be a lot happier, I don't need another Aladdin.(or at least his stupid little sling shot)

The sheer amount of hatred that slingshot gets never fails to make me laugh.

Especially since a) it's non-lethal, b) we know he won't keep it forever (he eventually creates a lightsaber-blaster hybrid), c) it doesn't do anything to anyone wearing stormtrooper armor, and d) the Inquisitor has been shown to block its shots with contemptuous ease. This thing is supposed to be a cobbled-together weapon created by a kid living on the street–and that is exactly what it is, nothing more.

The slingshot doesn't actually do anything. I'm sure he'll get rid of it at a later date. Or it's just that one item he ( Ezra) has. I'm not too worried about it myself.

Hey now hey. You did not just go there. :(

Doesn't he eventually replace it with a lightsaber-gun? which probably also has slingshot capabilities stored in the handle

Lightsaber blaster. But It looks like a blaster most of the time to hide the fact he is a Jedi.

Of all the Ezra issues I am worried about, the slingshot is the least of them.
