A/V STAR WARS REBELS (show's over, spoilers allowed)

Yes! Wait....

 

So I watched the Onderon arc of TCW with my daughter this morning. That arc has a lot more... gravitas after the Rebels Season 2 trailer. I mean, Ahsoka, Rex, and Hondo advising/training/arming Rebellion. The popping of battle droids was very reminiscent to the raids on Stormtroopers on Lothal. Ahsoka saw the beginning and the endgame of Rebellion on one planet. And now she's trying to organize for the Galaxy the success she witnessed and successfully assisted on Onderon - all without the ultimate assistance and support of the Jedi.

 

The people of the galaxy are pretty good at doing fine without Jedi

 

Apparently Ahsoka isn't a Jedi no more

 

She's just a gal with a lightsaber and a few questions.

 

So was Exar Kun in his time (except that he wasn't a "gal", of course).

 

So I had loads of stuff to get done today, but instead I decided to procrastinate.

We've had the Kanan and Kyle comparisons before, but now I think it's time we got this:

What happens if Jerec appears in Rebels as an Inquisitor? And then fights Kanan? Will the forum implode?

Also about Inquisitors... I was just thinking:

Filoni mentioned in one of his interviews lately that Ahsoka probably isn't aware that Vader is Anakin. Assuming Barriss is the female Inquisitor from the trailer, does SHE know Vader is Anakin? She's wearing a version of Vader's helmet, which would imply she's intentionally emulating him to some degree. Or is this a helmet style common during the age of the Empire, much like the helmet Veers wears in ESB?

 

Hey, anybody who has problems with Jedi Academy hasn't discovered console commands. Spawn a bunch of rodians and a wampa and a swoop bike (which the rodian will make a run for, if the wampa doesn't get him first), all the way up on a high catwalk... who needs a story?

I find it hard to believe that man weighs 80 kilos.

 

Yeah, other than doing some minor improvements to lightsaber combat and adding a few more Force powers, Jedi Academy didn't do a whole lot.
