What are the odds that Thrawn only appears in the first and last episode of the series........you know like Vader last series.

 

probably a little more. But i understand limiting vader's exposure. If he keeps allowing the rebels to escape him, it lessens his legacy

 

Rebel's is pretty good cycling through villains (well, when they don't die), so I suspect Thrawn will come and go like Azmorigan and Kallus. Drop in when he's needed. Inevitably Cad Bane will get added to the cycle. And then Thrawn and Bane's cycles might overlap. Like two hands on a clock. Striking the moment of reckoning. Boom.

 

So they know each other from Cato Neimoidia?

 

But if they put Thrawn and Bane on the screen at the same time, won't that confuse people? And probably make this place implode as we won't know who to compare Bane to since which is the Duros now?

It's a cop out attempt by Filoni so he doesn't have to kill off Ezra and Kanan and keep them running around during the OT period, by having them not be Jedi but still doing the same stuff. hopefully it will be treated with the contempt it deserves

 

I heard you the first time around. Maybe you could actually think about why I ask for dm's input, or decide that this part of the conversation isn't something you're interested in.

I hope it goes over better than the Mortis and Yoda arcs. That is, Kanan learns something he takes away from the meeting and uses in a later episode. In Mortis everyone left and was basically "yeah that was weird. Let's just keep doing whatever we were doing and drive awkwardly home like we just saw a bad movie at the theater." And Yoda was basically "oh hi y'all -- You were all worried about me when I was out? No need. Y'all gonna die. LOL."

So I hope Kanan gets to learn something concrete from this meeting and doesn't go back to the Ghost all like "ok that was my 10 AM appointment. We have a lunch date with Thrawn and a 3 PM meeting with Maul."

 

The Bendu sound like monks who would not separate the Force into Light and Dark, but the resultant understanding requires them to be separated from society for safety's sake. Basically, something like the Father on Mortis.

At the coronation, she gets a surprise gift: an ancient Mandalorian helmet. Then she puts it on. Cue cliffhanger for season 4.

 

Given how much better this show has already been with handling the Voyage of Ezra and Kanan then TCW even ever remotely got when it came to the Force, I am pretty sure they will do fine.
