No, Rogue One tie-in books more or less state it is Hera's cell which uncover the Death Star program. That is already canon, I believe.

Given the nature and certain elements of the Season 4 trailer, I'd be surprise if it wasn't the finale.

Filoni also said Vader wouldn't be in season 3 and he told the truth. I don't think he's lying here, just like he said we'll see Ahsoka again in some way.

 

Dave hasn't lied yet in the show so I belive him

 

I think he straight up lied about Gregor never appearing again back in Anaheim

I think you meant after the release of the season 5 episode when he didn't know about Rebels because the season 2 trailer was at Celebration Anaheim and we see Gregor there.

 

No I believe it was at the panel for Bad Batch and there was a Q and A section and someone said would we ever see Gregor again and Filoni's answer was "I think his story is over" or something

I think when it comes to Scarif, though, Dave most certainly is telling the truth. Like he said, if the Ghost did anything of importance during the battle it'd have been shown. As it stands Hera just player guard duty and protected the fleet. So wouldn't really make for an interesting finale to the show. It'll all end on Lothal, which is the best, really. Like Maul said, it ends where it all began. Poetic, definitely.

 

I wonder if Commander Sato's nephew Mark & his friends survived what happened

 

After hearing how dark that episode was hopely the cried babys who complane that the clone wars was darker will shut up

 

That's what I said but was reminded that we shouldn't compare the two shows, as that's one of this forums rules. You weren't around for it, but this forum was nothing but heated Clone Wars vs Rebels debate before they put that rule in.

I do dislike censoring certain topics tho, it makes discussion so much more boring. I think that it should be allowed to compare the shows, unless you go to overboard with it (start calling names and such). But that goes for every topic ofc.

 

They were different styled shows with different storytelling goals. What else is there to say? I greatly enjoyed both.
