Full Series Star Wars Rebels Season 4 Discussion (Spoilers Allowed)

Give me a trailer within the next week or so and I'll stomach the wait.

 

They always have a big reveal in the The trailers. I wonder what they will have this time.

 

The actual return date doesn't bother me. I do have to wonder why we had to find by such circuitous and spurious means? Disney's failure to issue an official return date strikes me as puzzling. Were they really hoping to delay the news in hopes of keeping the focus on The Last Jedi?

 

I am pretty sure at this point they will not make that much more money off of the Last Jedi

 

Could be that they're gearing up to release some Solo promotional material and they want to space things out. I don't think that's particularly wise, but it's the only thing I can really think of for them keeping information regarding the show on the down low.

 

Ok, in a further twist to this long saga, Dee Bradley Baker has since gone back on his statement and is saying that he was confused and that the date isn't correct for US screens.

Something awfully strange is going on over at Lucasfilm animation...

 

I wouldn't mind if it came back on the 24th just because that would mean it comes back on my birthday

I was wondering if they were already pivoting to focus on new projects, now that their work on Rebels is done? That doesn't explain the lack of marketing though.

Speaking of, if we assume Filoni is likely to take a lead in the announced live-action streaming series, what happens with the animation department? Is there anything in the works other than Forces of Destiny?

 

I guess destroying Imperial/First Order equipment is a Solo thing (Kylo slashing equipment in TFA).

Same here! My birthday is the 23rd.

Hopefully Rebels will have returned by then.

 

I think that would be the better present. To know it will be back sooner.

 

Maybe the reveal is Kanan's absence.

I don't mind if Rebels takes a bit longer to continue... It will be over too soon in any case.
