    *Facepalm*

I debunked your argument. Do you have a counterpoint or what?

That's just like, you're opinion, man. My counter is that all your statements are wrong because...they are not true. Hence wrong.

Stymi if you don't have anything constructive to add, don't add anything at all. Discuss the points, don't just flat out malign them.

    "You're wrong because you're wrong."

    That's not a good argument.

If you say something that is wrong, continuing to say the same thing doesn't make it less wrong. Your statements are highly interpretive...yet you present them as indisputable fact.

I mean, that's kind of how debate works. I make a statement and present evidence, then you try to counter those points, and so on. You can't just say "You're wrong because you're wrong and nothing will change that". Especially after I refute your arguments. Because that just indicates that you're resorting to this because you have no argument to make.

I love the "Pack up your toys and go home" avenue of debate.

    But whatever.

Cool it, both of you. If you can't play nice then you can both spend some mandatory away time from the boards.

    But...

    I liek the boards [face_nail_biting]

Message Received! Now, to get back to REBELS SEASON 4, do you guys think this season will have a more central overarching plot, or Clone Wars style mini-arcs?

IIRC Dave said there are basically two--the Mando plot for starters, then the Saw/Mothma/larger Alliance stuff leading straight to the finale.

I do hope there's some Jedi and Sith plot elements. It feels like that was the main focus of Seasons One and Two and it was completely dropped in Season Three.

I want Zahn to show up dressed in his Karrde disguise to reign in the glorious inevitable return of Talon.

    Not Maul's GF.

Well Karrde can be Maul's GF if he wants but somebody else is gonna have to pay for the shipping of that.

What about Maul and his eventual duel with Kenobi?

You mean that pitiful excuse for a lightsaber fight? That lasted five seconds?

Sorry, but that does not count in my books.

    I disagree, personally.

It was very "Kill Bill"-esque, which I know is based on old Samurai movies. The fight isn't nearly as important as the build. With guys like Obi-Wan and Maul, especially in their old age, they're planning out the entire fight in those moments before they clash. Then, the brief burst of violence, and one opponent is dead. Not only that, but the movie that Obi-Wan capitalizes on is the same move that Maul used to kill Qui-Gon.

This isn't even going into the stellar moment the two had as Maul dies on the ground, his only peace knowing that Obi-Wan will see Luke into adulthood and finally get a chance for vengeance he will never be able to experience. Two old foes who no longer truly hate each other, just trying to seek out some meaning in their remaining time.

Its great. But that's just my opinion.

I still say Obi-Wan should have thrown Maul on a fire and burned the body....just to be sure.

Old age does not hamper Master-level Force-wielders from fighting in top form.

Look at Count Dooku. Look at Darth Sidious. Look at Yoda. Even Mother Talzin, ancient as she was managed to engage Mace Windu in a lightning-fast duel. We'll agree to disagree on this, but I know that many fans were dissatisfied with the short duel we got in Twin Suns.

    Citation?

The short fight also served to bridge the two trilogies. The crazy over the top duels from the prequels to the more subdued ones we get in the OT. The fight with Maul was a middle ground, showing Obi-Wan's toned down abilities to line up with his duel with Vader in the OT.
