They're trying to keep the hype on The Last Jedi. Only when they've exhausted that, will we see anything about Rebels. And it's return will be timed for the show to end just when Solo hype is ready to start. It's all part of Darth Kennedy's Grand Plan.

 

As far as Dave's doodlings have gone, that's a weird looking Thrawn.

 

I spent a moment wondering if the shadows on Thrawn's face match Ahsoka's face marks and then decided I should probably do what Obi-Wan said and rethink my life.

 

Thrawn is Ahsoka is Snoke is Rey is Mayor of Sernpidal!!1!1!

I asked Tracy Cannobbio on Twitter if Feb 24 was indeed the premiere date and I got no response. Make that of what you will.......

looks like Filoni mixed the art style of Rebels and the Heir to the Empire comic adaptation.

 

Yeah, it's more of the traditional solid red-eyed look to Thrawn, which I kinda dig, because it's a character that wasn't originally designed by Filoni so I like that he's referencing old takes on it.

The way he's done the mouth though...looks a little odd to me.

 

Filoni lies again. It is looking like the show will not come back until the 24th of February

TBF, "Filoni lies" is more an affectionate running gag than a real expression of outrage most of the time.

@Sinrebirth It is, but He has lied about stuff involving his own story. I am not faulting him and the comment I first made was more in jest to him saying soon. When he does he is doing it so as to not spoil something which is completely fine.
