A/V STAR WARS REBELS (show's over, spoilers allowed)

As much as I'd love to see my buddy GrandAdmiralJello rant and rave if they brought back his BFF/frenemy Pellaeon, the guy in that clip doesn't look anything like him.

It looks similar enough, I really hope it is Pallaeon but, like others have said, I do not want to get my hopes up. Especially since it is 99.98% not him.

 

Can you guys fill me in on what you're talking about? What's the character reference you're making and where has he appeared before?

 

Pallaeon, his first name is Gilad. He is in the Thrawn trilogy (his most notable appearance) but was in many other novels as well. He was a really great character.

 

Well, we know Hera won't be doing any setting down until at least after ROTJ. And I can't imagine her not being a part of the battle of Jakku. Perhaps after that? Such a bummer that SW has to go and portray war as ruining people lives. How rude to present things as they are.

I've kind of lost track over the years of how much of Jello's Imperial apologist stance is tongue and cheek.

 

Frankly, I am not sure even knows that.

 

That's the whole thing. Its one facility. A much easier objective than a moon-sized battle station armed to the teeth, with a planet killing superlaser.

I'm going to look into the Force and try to divine the plots of the first named episodes of 2018, just by their names. First up is Allegiance. In Allegiance, I believe that Kallus will be conflicted on what side he should be on, and must decide if he is truly a rebel or still an Imperial. One Giant Step Ahead is tricky, but I think it might have something to do with the TIE Defender plans being analyzed and a weakness being found. Call of the Specter is easy. The Rebellion has a a dangerous mission and they need a ship that is both stealthy and fast. In comes The Ghost.

Also within these episodes, Ryder dies.

 

Just finished the episodes. Nice to see the World Devastator put to use in a newish way.

I didn't think officially-announced info counted as spoilers, especially not episode titles?

 

Is anyone upset because of the lack of musical cues from Princess Mononoke whenever the Loth wolves (aka Moro no kimi) are on screen?

 

Are titles spoilers though? I could understand for synopses but titles are generally vague enough to not actually spoil anything.

 

Well...I thought it was the weakest in this set of 5 episodes leading into the grand finale.

1) what type of alien pilot was making the Wookiee sounds?

2) Budget issues keep them from showing the majority of battles? They kept cutting during the main starfighter action.

3) Hera/Kanan kiss now seemingly confirmed for last time they see each other. Loth wolves are setting Kanan up to be a sacrifice to save the Ghost/Hera/Chopper and any remaining Lothal Rebels.

4) Arrogantly confident Thrawn is the best Thrawn. No, Governor Pryce, the factory is safe

I feel like there was some story missing from the start of the episode.

A scene with Hera's squadron before leaving Yavin would have been nice, and it could have shown them reacting to using the X-Wings for the first time.
