It's a nice little ret con. Explains why he kept referring to himself as "The Inquisitor". He was embodied the Inquisitorius as its Grand Inquisitor after all.

That scene is actually a big part of why I'd like FemQuizzy to be Barriss.

Also, I really like that they talk about Rex and Ahsoka in terms of how they'll affect the dynamic of the main cast. Should be reassuring to those who worry that they'll turn the show into TCW 2.

In other words, Not sure the helmet is a helpful clue.

 

I don't know that a better line can be drawn than "official release". It's bound to bug someone, but so is anything. You had a Phasma icon at one point; I have a friend IRL who avoids everything and would consider that a big spoiler.

 

I guess somebody on the team really likes that helmet design.

Yeah, imho Ahsoka should have had a bit more faith in Kanan and warned him and then what happened in the trailer would not have happened. Or maybe Kanan would have refused to go if he had known.

While as a character in universe I am disappointed in Ahsoka's choice, as a viewer I actually like Ahsoka being a bit of a manipulator; it give her a characteristic I find interesting. Plus it follows from Season 1 where she told Hera to sacrifice Kanan. She didn't swoop in during the season finale out of the goodness of her heart, she recognized the blow the greater resistance would take if the entire Ghost crew were lost. And if we're following the Gandalf analogy that Mr. Filoni has been using, Gandalf was a strategist who moved people around like pieces on a board in The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings.

It was touching how Kanan immediately stepped in front of Ezra.

 

Yeah she figured this exact situation was going to happen. I mean,

"Rex please get him to trust you before he kills someone."

 

Jeez Ahsoka! I get we all need to work together to defeat the Empire, but people could have died!
