"Star Wars References on other TV shows" data bank

SNL They have George Lucas played by hammond and he shows some skits of shots all on digital film. This is after th Nsync hype and they have them in two scenes. There is also the celebrity council with obi-wan, yoda,mace,yareal,cartman,alf,harry potter, mayor mc cheese. And they had a sketch with jar jar, where george says he's more refined. Jar Jar: mesa go peepee and poopie. Meesa stinky winky.

And I know there is another sw refrence i was thinking about.

 

Do Over

(It's about a guy who goes back in time to the 80's when he was still a teenager.) The main character is standing on a long line with his friends on opening night for ESB. These people dressed up as Darth Vader and Stormtroopers cut them in line, and get the last tickets. The group is furious that they've been cut, and the main character's friend complains, "Now we're not going to be the first to find out the big surprise!" The main character yells out that the twist is Vader is Luke's father. The "Darth Vader" in front of them turns around, angrily, and then the guy starts shouting, "And in ROTJ Luke and Leia are twins! And in The Phantom Menance ..." and then DV knocks him unconscious. Also, when DV and the guy are fighting, his friend runs up to a guy dressed as Obi-Wan and says, "Help us Obi-Wan Kenobi, you're our only hopes!"

There's probably some errors in that since I only caught that one scene, and it was a few months ago.

 

There was an episode of the X-Files that took a look behind the scenes.
David Duchovny was talking about the CSM (Cigarette Smoking Man) :

South Park
The infamous "Lord of the Rings" episode.
A kid comes on screen with a Darth Vader or Storm Trooper helmet and wanted to play "Lord of the Rings" with the kids. They kept ignoring him and at one point, he requested a Star Destoyer!!!

 

Yeah Darth Malt! The kid w/ the stormtrooper helmet was named Kevin, and when they're talking about the porn tape, I believe his line was, "Maybe we can use it to strengthen our starcruisers!"

 

Angel:
On one night's episode of Angel, (from parent show, Buffy) made an appearance in LA to help The Angel gang re-ensoul the now evil, Angelus. After doing some catching up, Willow tells Wesley (Buffy and fellow Slayer Faith's former Watcher) after he tells her how his life has changed since leaving Sunnydale that he seems to have given in to the "grumpier side of the Force".

Children of Dune:
During Part 3, as Princess Wensicia uses the binoculars, as do other characters during the two-hour block, you can clearly see Aurabesh (SW alphabet, of course) on the top and bottom, in bright yellow.

South Park:
There is a colored kid on the show named Lando. (No offense, please).

Its Token, as in the token black kid.

 

YES. IT WAS TOLKEIN!!!!! I am stupid. I was thinking of the "Clerks" Cartoon. There was a guy named Lando on it.

 

His name is not Tolkein. It's Token. Maybe they changed it for that particular episode, but his name has always been Token. Look it up on the South Park website.

Anyway, another great South Park Star Wars moment was Mr. Hat dressed like Chewbacca during the first Halloween episode. I think the creators are a bit fond of Chewbacca, no?

Its not really being a prefectionist at all. If it isn't Token the joke doesn't work. And maybe its just me but if I were to pronounce either Tolkan, or Tolkien I would add the L sound.

1) also on the Simpson's ep. where Homer and Marge sees Empire. They are in the castle at the putt-putt range. Homer says, "your as smart as Yoda and as beautiful as Princess Leia"

2) Last night my mom was watching figure skating on ABC. This Chinese skater was using music form Star Wars movies. First sounded like the beggining of the Coruscant chase, then it went to "Dual of the Fates" then Jar Jar's theme, then the Jawa theme (which was kind of slow) and then ending again with "Dual of the Fates.

 

With all of these entries you all have been submitting, I have been combining them on word in case I ever decide to release another version of this thread. And when that day comes, theforce.net shall be blown away by the huge scale of this databank.

another Simpson's ep. was a Roast on Homer. The show began with Homor dressed like Forrest Gump. Chief Wiggum comes up to him, saying there is a law against parodies, then you see Moe dressed up like Austin Powers, saying, "behave", then two policemen drag him to a paddy wagon. They open the back, and we see Dr. Hebert dressed like Darth Vader (but with the helmet held in his lap) and he says, "Luke, I am your father".
