David Letterman on Thursday night kept getting Star Trek mixed up with Star Wars. Leonard Nimoy was on to present the top ten things that will never be heard in a Star Trek Movie. My favorite was "Set phasers to fabulous!" Nimoy was there to promote the 11th Star Trek film, entitled "Star Trek". Great original name. How was the movie, TK?

 

I just saw it today. I t was pretty awesome, and is a great reset for the franchise. I will admit I had a lump or two in my throat for a couple of classic scenes. A definite must see!

 

I have to ask, for a friend, does Ohura go to bed with a certain Captain? The answer will decide whether or not she sees the movie.

 

No, but the commercial certainly makes it seem that way. It is instead one of those green skinned chicks that Kirk seems to be so fond of

 

I will let her know. She was very uncomfortable with the whole idea of Ohura and Kirk. I thought that would explain all that tension they seemed to have. Like she knew personally how much of a playa he was.

 

Well, there is tension between them most of the movie, and Kirk DOES try to 'breach the shields' as it were, but she's not having any of it lol

I know your not to give a way any of the movie till they see it for them self's. The movie ROCKS!! Just go see it. I'm working on my 3rd. trip. One of the best movies over the last couple of years. I'd love to go see it on IMAX. They say it;s amazing. It set an IMAX record over the weekend for the largest opening weekend with over 9.2 million in sales.
