SWRPF Archive Star Wars: Resurrection of the Krath

OOC sorry it took me so long to post. We are going to have a short meeting then skip ahead to the battle if anybody wants to make a response to the meeting then make ita flashback.

IC Jaster Emyo

Jaster calmly surveyed the cadre of jedi and soldiers before him. "WE do not have much time so I will cut to the chase. Kurt you and your men will cover us as we make a break to Bespin. You and a specifid squad will be with us as we go to attack the sith, the rest of yoru company will cover us. Crash and Miko you and your squad will cover us as we make a break to Bespin then you will peel off to help us attack any questions. Good. You are dismissed.


OOC Miko needs your answer Crash

IC Jaster

Jaster gripped the hand hold in the gun ship as they made a break for Bespin. Flak exploded around their ship as they flew. Jaster and all the other men were on their way to Bespin dozens of Kuati drop ships behind them. They prepared for attack.

IC: Crash Stokes

"You are dismissed," the Grandmaster said.

Crash stood up, realizing that the moment of action was almost there. Soon, they would be fighting the Sith on Bespin. The fate of the war depended on this battle; if the Sith won, they would gain control of the fight. As he was leaving, Miko stopped Crash and talked to him.
"So, Crash, have you made your decision yet?"

Crash stood there, digesting what Miko had just said.

"Well, Miko,I haven't had as much time as I would have liked..."

"Come on, pal. Give me an answer." Miko was almost laughing, but the tone of his voice was serious. Crash rubed his chin, thinking about Miko's offer. He would get to be a mecahnic for Rogue Squadron AND head of a C-Wing squadron, but he wanted to be able to fly around on his own. Being able to fly without any worries at all was what he longed for.

"Miko, I really can't accept all of that. I have enough other things going on that it would be hard for me to accept all of these things. What I mean is that...is that...oh, Ican't really figure out how to say this."

"Your point is?" asked Miko.

"Well, I'd love to work with you as a mechanic, but the stress of leading a squadron of fighters into combat all the time is too draining. If I could, I would rather be a part-time flyer. That way, I wouldn't burn out."

OOC: On to the Battle!

 

IC Miko

Miko thought about what Crash had said he wanted to be a part timer on the Rouge Squadron was that to much to ask.

"Ok heres the deal we can make you an officer, but instead of engineer you can get papework. We get say 4 or 5 schematics for ships a day you have to review these closely and carefully to see if they are worthy for funding into being an actual ship. IT isnt that hard and you get paid for it. As far as flying is concerned we can find a commander but you can be a part timer you know clock in your own hours. Whaddaya say?"

IC: Crash Stokes

"Aww, come on, Miko. I don't need to be an officer; if the job as mechanic is open, I'll take it." Crash grinned. "Plus, I'm not good with paperwork. If mechanic is open, I'll do that. Get some grease and lube all over; sounds interesting. Plus, I can make slight modifications if need arises. That's all I want."

IC Miko

"Ok good for you but you are getting paperwork you owe me buddy." Miko grinned and slapped his friend on the back. "Lets get prepped. I'll meet you at pilot brefing."

OOC Wont cover breifing in RPG if you want to handle it go ahead.

 

IC: Uri Krai

Uri Krai gathers around the jedi as they boarded the ship and left for bespin. Uri looks around at various ships that were in the large amount of space that what they called the battle feild in space. "hmm this will be fun, lots of fun. Everyone keeps your wits about you and stay focused! Remember your training, and rely on the force to get you through!" Uri yells to them as his wild side comes out.

IC: Fil Kreuger

The Cutter had just exited hyperspace, and was now approaching Bespin. Fil looke out his viewport; Bespin loomed over his ship. Not knowing what he would be in for, he approached the planet, ready to complete the task that he had been assigned by the Guild. "Stully!" he shouted.

"Yeah, Fil?" asked the droid.

"Get ready for landing procedures," said Fil. "I'll get this thing done as soon as possible."

Stully went over to the panels and pressed a button. "We're moving down, Fil," it said as the ship started its approach to Bespin.

Bio-Mykle's grandfather was a imperial knight in the empire. His grandfather decided to train his son and in turn his grandson in private because he does not share the ideals of the jedi order. Mykle left home to join up with the army and do his duty with this new coming threat. IT was not long into basic that he revealed that he was not just force sensitive but had had some serious training. Now with the Jedi Order he trains and is trying to adapt to this new way of life.

"Alright i guess this is it. Anyone who is doing their meditation better wake up because its almost time to go! Remember the dark side is strong here you must always look towards the light! Never give up untill your essence has left your body!" Uri yells to the jedi and soldiers to possibly raise morale.

Crash heard Uri's speech to the soldiers; they were pumped up to hear that pep talk from a proven Jedi. Crash raised his hand in the air and shouted "Let's do it!" The soldiers cheered and started loading onto the attack ships.

IC Mykle Dax

On board one of the attack ships sits Mykle Dax. Trained by his father and grandfather in the way of the imperial knights of old he concealed his essence and snuck aboard for this mission. Having joined the oreder recently it has been a dicey issue as just what to do regarding his views. All that withstanding Mykle knew he could be of great assistance on this mission so he stowed away and now finally has revealed himself back to the force and everyones perception. "Don't be alarmed i am here for the same reason you all are."

IC Jaster

Jaster noddeed at Mikyle. "Greetings Knight Jaxle I have been waiting for you. Your services are needed in this mission....

A few minutes later the jedi gunship hurtled through space followed by Miko' and Crash's squadrons. For a while they were not interuptted but soon several tie fighters and other star ships flew at them spitting out green and red energy beams.

"Hear they come!" an unidentified pilot yelled as the fighters fought back.

The fight had begun

IC: Crash Stokes

Crash had heard the pilot on the radio say "Here they come." Sure enough, several sqaudrons of enemy fighters came into view. Rolling his C-Wing, Crash led his group headfirst into the enemy swarm. Firing his laser cannons, he quickly disposed of two fighters, and shot one's solar panels off, making it spin out of control before exploding. Out of the corner of his eye, Crash could see his group engagin teh fighters, cutting tehm down with superior weapons. Executing a barrel roll to dodge an enemy fighter, Crash came up and blasted the fighter from behind, envelloping it in a small fireball. "Yes!" shouted Crash as he zoomed off to shoot down more enemies.

IC Mykle

Mykle heads over to a gun port. " Jaster ill take up station here and protect this side of the attack ship. We should get someone else on any other gun ports to blaze a way in." Mykle looks at his hud as it lights up with enemy targets...he begins firing with his heightened Jedi piloting skills he aims and squeezes off some rounds.

 

IC Miko

"Change of plans boys!" Miko yelled as he snap rolled out of a target lock. "Theres a destroyer coming up and targeting our attack ship, Mikyle, Crash form up on my wing, I have a good torpedo that can hit the destroyer right in the eyeballs and knock it out of commission. Thann and his guys can cover the attack ship." With that Miko rocketed off towards the star destroyer.

IC: Crash Stokes

Crash had heard Miko change the plans, and directed his squadron to from up with the other fighters. Miko had a good torpedo; what could it be? A missile? Something Miko had come up with? Well, he was the leader of Rogue Squadron B-Wing Division, so he would know what would go on his ship and what wouldn't fit. Rolling around to cover Miko's wing, Crash noticed more fighters atacking the gunship that contained the other Jedi; he felt obligated to help them, but Miko had a chance to attack the destroyer and allow the Jedi to break through. It would be a close fight.

IC Mykle

"Roger that" Mykle says into the com as he forms up on the other wing. Laying down covering fire in this space ballet of death as enemy ships light up in bright explosions as they carve a wake for the torpedo shot to be made.

IC Miko

Miko focused on the task at hand he steeled his nerves as he manevered his fighter. He suddenly felt a distrubance and jolted with surprise asa torpedo flew straight by his ship it collided with Mikyle's x-Wing. The fighter spun out of control his left wings ultimate decimated. He heard Crash make a sound of concern but Miko sent him a quick warning to stay on target. This loss of concentration resulted in him being hit by a torpedo. Immediately his fighter spun out of control. Miko used his piloting skills to stay on target. He was still in danger. He had lost his steering ability! He focused on his mission.

"Crash." He said calmly/. "Help Mikyle escort him to safefty so he can make it to Bespin." He vaguely heard Crash protest saying that he would surely die.

"Crash please for me I have to stop this ship soon. Do't worry about me."

IC: Crash Stokes

Crash couldn't believe it; his best friend was in mortal peril, and another one of the fighters was decimated by a torpedo. Miko was sayin gover the cmlink to help Mykle, but Crash just didn't want to do it.

"Just do it!" said Miko over the com. "I'll meet up with you there."

Crash steered his ship over to Mykle's, dodging several laser hots and torpedoes. Quickly, his fighter manuevered so that it was protecting all of mykle's ship. Crash knew that he didn't like having to do this, but miko was strong; he was just as good a pilot as he himself was.

IC Miko

Miko twisted his fighter slowly and quickly fired his ion missile. It had two parts. The first had enough charge to tear a small hole in the hull the second charge employed a ion charge that shut down the whole ship. Miko came in tight and fired his ion charge. As it exploded across the ship he desperatly pulled his fighter at the last second. The lower wing of his ship was torn off as he collided with the star destroyer he pulled up again breathing hard as another one of his wings were torn off. He gripped the ship as he pulled his fighter span out of control heavily. He went on his still functioning comm.

"Crash make it to that 3217 Kuati drop shp now cover me on my tale!"
